I am not complaining… the aiming feels much more reminiscent to the Beta, they obviously deadened the acceleration curve… but with that, it feels like it’s a little harder to “snap” to the enemy on quick sweeps and slightly more effort seems to be needed to maintain your aim on the target.
This is absolutely fine… but I’m just wondering if anyone else seems to think that they lowered the aim assist/magnetism. Either way, the game is playing slightly different post-update. Feels good.

Need more data (play more games) before I can really put in my personal experience but 343 did change some things with the aiming but I thought all they’d be doing was reticle lag latency or something like that. Could go back into the patch notes and see if they did anything else as well.

Where did you read that at? From what I’ve been reading, people are saying the acceleration jumps are still there which was one of the main problems with the aim.
Yeah the aim assist and bullet magnestusm feels different. Also did they drop the lock on of the plasma pistol because I was playing a custom match and it never locked on not once. Also the sniper rifle seems to have lost almost all of its bullet magnetism.
My first few games with the update sure felt like the aiming is different. I don’t know if this will decrease my accuracy, or increase it, but hopefully it’s the latter.

Nah they said something specific to deadzones or something, I’m trying to find it but there’s been an information over load this week and I’m struggling to pin it down lol

So they actually lowered the aim assist? People told me they increased it and i also kinda see a lot more people getting up to around 55% accuracy. Mine also increased to 60%. But maybe it´s because i got kontrolfreeks since last week.
