Everytime I’ve ever seen an Ultra Banshee it never ends up going down for like 70% of the match. And if I try to fight it with an AA weapon it just spams banshee tricks, managing to avoid almost everything, then no matter how hard I try to avoid it, I die to it’s fuel rod. I try to fight it with a vehicle and it 1-4 shots me with it’s vehicle tracking fuel rod. Also, even if I manage to dodge 1 fuel rod, it’ll just fire another in the next literal second. It’s absurd. I think it needs a nerf. I don’t think an almost semi-auto vehicle tracking multi-exploding fuel rod capable of avoiding almost all projectiles is balanced at all. I have thought of a few ways to nerf it.
Give it a 2-3 second cooldown to it’s banshee tricks. - Reduce it’s health. - Remove the tracking. - **A longer cooldown on the fuel rod.**This is just my opinion. It seems broken to me, and I’d love to see it nerfed.

The Answer, is the answer to the Ultra Banshee.
Shoot something at it that’s powerful and doesn’t rely on locking on so it can be dodged. Splasers work well too.
srsly…the banshee is not as powerful as for example a hannibal tank…what really makes it annoying are those unending flips…do something about the banshee tricks, like say a 2 second cooldown after the completion of a flip or roll before another can be executed
War zone is inherently unbalanced. The banshee ultra doesn’t need a nerf because there are a plethora of other things that would immediately make it unviable if nerfed. Weapons like the answer, Selene’s lance, and nornfang can probably already take care of it with ease. It’s only how willing you are to use some of the more limited REQs or if you even have them to begin with.
Sounds more like your team mates just don’t team shoot it. Anything lasts a long time only cuz it’s given a pass to live longer. I see ultra banshees last cuz I’ll be one of the few trying to take it down and I’ve been in some enjoying free roam since opposing players chose to leave me be.
my tip is using a spartan laser. Don’t aim at it when charging cuz then it’s alert, sit near a corner aiming into a wall and at the last second move the sight to the banshee.
I make out a point to shoot down banshees when they are spawned in. Unfortunately not everyone uses that mentality. At least 3 players tackling a banshee can take it down fairly easily. The ultra ones take a little more effort but 1 power weapon and a couple loadout with armor piercing rounds to keep its shields down works well.

Ultra Banshees are 100% no more and no less. (Just a tip tho: Become good at flying Banshees so when you know your own weakness, you can use it against other pilots. Except me )

Grab an Arc Light or laser, plasma pistol it, it doesn’t need a nerf. There are counters to it. It’s an Ultra Banshee, it should be threatening. Yeah the flips are annoying, but you’re going to have to make your shots count. Don’t really bother with rockets, as a flip will disable the homing. The only aerial vehicle that can much one in the sky is probably the Temple or Helios. They aren’t invincible though, and not everyone can fly and use a Banshee well.

How interesting. Guess I’ll add that to my vocabulary.

Excellent observation. Most pilots are not at the level of “Master of the Skies”
