Is it just me or are Destiny players a problem?

HOLD ON MODS BEFORE YOU LOCK THIS, THIS IS INDEED A LEGITAMATE QUESTION ABOUT A TREND IVE BEEN SEEING IN MULTPLAYER THAT IM TRYING TO UNDERSTAND.

I dont know why but so often I get player on my team who will play horribly, many times scoring negative and then quit out less than a minute into the match. And then whenever I check those people’s profiles to block and report them, they always seem to have less than 2 hours of playtime and have gone back to playing Destiny which they have logged hundreds and thousands of hours into.

Is this just me? is it a coincidence or do we have an actual problem?

Why is this even a thread?

A coincidence?

Also, people may create alts who get gold status, and they can then have more than 3 characters then to create and level up in Destiny. Destiny works, MCC does not in comparison. Perhaps they are jumping in, getting sick of how the game is just poop on a stick and hopping right back to Destiny.

halo poop on a stick get out of here serisouly lol. and destiny is a joke of game. its carrot on a stick gameplay, with all the worst mmo traits and none of the good ones. and then the amount of money it asks from you as well , but hey each to there own. as for mcc, sure its had sersious issues and it should be called out for them, but i duno if its just me but the games been fine for ages, i can play mp and get games and campagin has always worked well for me since like jan.

“It works fine for me” argument…do you not internet around here? The severe problems many are experiencing? The broken game play, missing features, getting disconnected, the “dedicated servers”…I love Halo, and the MCC should have been a celebration of the past, but you have a blizzard of lag and glitches trying to play. I can play Destiny with people from all over the world and never an issue.

Even though the other game is not the same design wise, it actually works very smoothly, with few hiccups. Call it a well crafted hamburger in comparison to a terribly cooked Porterhouse steak. In theory, the steak should be mouthwatering and preferred, but the hamburger is good for a hamburger, while your Porterhouse was dropped on the floor, cooked in vinegar and burnt to a crisp. It’s a terrible shame.

I’ve seen quite a few people who had never played Halo until they fell in love with Destiny and just had to see Bungie’s series that started it all. They get MCC to see what all the fuss is about, jump right into multiplayer, get crapped on because it’s not easy like Destiny, and proceed to talk about how Destiny is a far superior game and whatnot.

I don’t look at it as a “problem”, but I do think it’s hilarious.

I get crapped on the two times I tried Destiny PvP, so I stick to missions and strikes and “Farming” there. I have played Halo since CE, so I can gung-ho it in multiplayer (not claiming to be very good). Just two differing games and I can see why you would high-tail it out of here if you have played more of the other game. I put Halo 2 into my cousin’s husband’s 360 back in the day, and he is a big Gear head. I was trying to get him into the H2 game, but he found it frustrating (especially because I was circling and strafing him LOL) and just did not want to get into Halo. So I can see this would be the same for coming FROM Destiny.

…Fix MCC please

This has already gone far off topic but you must be playing a very different Destiny than me bacause that game’s connection issues are almost wose than the MCC

-You cant join 90% of your friends for no good reason even though they’ve got space on their Firetem

-Crucible connection is absolutely the most horendous thing ive even seen. I green bar in PvE and literaly every other game but in destiny I get this: Destiny Hit Detection - YouTube

-Crota Hard mode is bugged to hell with some sort off Data leak or something that degrades your connection over time

-Crucible is a bad degenerate casual poor excuse for a multiplayer mode even without the lag

-The game is an eternal treadmill of a grindfest designed to drain your money

I think it’s annother pretty bad sign of how casualised games have gotten. Did you see that one video where kids couldn’t beat Glass Joe in Punch Out.
I’d rather not have the quality of games dragged down for mass appeal like that, because Destiny is selling and Halo isnt because people are to bad and impatient to learn to play.

Destiny is incredibly easy… like not a challenge just use the thorn…
halo on the other hand is a lot harder and much more rewarding.
because of this the destiny players just are terrible and go back to destiny

Correlation does not always equal causation. Coincidences happen. Let’s not bash other game communities needlessly.
