Is it just called 'Halo xbox one'?

Is this halo 5? Or is it just like a placeholder name or something?

We don’t really know right now. It could be Halo 5, and they’re just calling it Halo Xbox One to help sell Xbox Ones. It might also be a game that bridges the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5. We will know what it is in the future.

In the announcement trailer you can see the “5” in the clouds, slightly above Halo´s logo. So i think it is Halo 5

No you cannot. Stop spreading this pointless rumor. I’ve been over that footage over and over again and once again the Halo fanbase is seeing things that aren’t there.

As for the title, I really hope it isn’t called Halo Xbox One. I thought the name of the actual console was bad enough but this one is just terrible.

At the moment it’s a place holder title, I highly doubt it’s Halo 5

Hope not. Halo Xbox One is a terrible name and doesn’t have any reference to being a continuing game in the Reclaimer Saga in my opinion.

> As you might have guessed, she and I were rather excited about the Halo Xbox One (working title) reveal trailer.

It isn’t the official title, just a placeholder for now.

I’d prefer it to be Halo 5.

[/li]- If this were a spin-off designed to bridge the gap between Halo 4 and Halo 5, than why I am seeing the Master Chief wearing a freaking robe with freaking cracked visor and a freaking War Sphinx rising out of the ground? THAT SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING THAT WOULD BRIDGED! I JUST STUMBLED INTO A MAJOR PLOT HOLE AND I AM NOW EXPECTING THIS TO BE A BRIDGE GAME! WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • Normally we don’t see spin-off titles having an innovative multiplayer and then INCLUDING the Master Chief! I would find Spartan Assault to fall under the Spin-off scheme, not this.

  • The current trend has shown major titles following a 2 year cycle, and even Frankie expressed an interest in making Halo games release annually (which I fundamentally disagree with)

  • There isn’t really anything else that this can be… Just Halo 5…

Just the placeholder name of Halo: Xbox One is driving me to the verge of rampancy… It’s like Mendicant Bias all over again…

If it’s not Halo 5, then tell us! Don’t make us grab each other’s throats over this!

Why would you face the Combine Adviser guy in Half Life 2 Episode 1? Anything is possible

I doubt this will be halo 5. After they announced the reclaimer trilogy is now a saga I strongly think that this will be a story between halo 4 & 5 possibly during the same timeline as the Spartan ops.

it has been confirmed that its a working tittle by Bravo in the last bulletin. Read and keep up and you will know.

Indeed. This means the final release probably won’t be called that.

Someone also posted something recently saying it’s no longer the ‘Reclaimer Trilogy’ and is becoming more of a saga.

I think we can expect unique names for future Halo titles rather than the generic number notation. I don’t think the next two releases will be called ‘Halo 5’ and ‘Halo 6’ after all.

How about:

Halo Episode V: The Didact Strikes back

followed by

Halo Episode VI: Return of the Spartans

I heard their just calling it Halo One®

No, it’s probably just a technique to market the Xbox One.

Information goes around that this is going to be a start of the reclaimer saga and not a trilogy a bit confused over this but we will se it seems like they can’t decide,

How many people would consider it to be Halo 5 if it was just a campaign with no multiplayer?

> I heard their just calling it Halo One®

Nah, that’s just what I suggested it to be called to confuse loads of people

Technically the first Halo wasn’t called Halo One, it was Halo: Combat Evolved :stuck_out_tongue:

Well Microsoft’s Twitter has been using #Halo5, but then again, why won’t anyone besides that just call it Halo 5?

I certainly hope that if it isn’t Halo 5, this is just a placeholder name, or else we’ll see “Halo Xbox One 2” in 2016…

343 is developing it, and they call it Halo Xbox One. They haven’t come up with an official name yet. Everyone calling it Halo 5 right now is just assuming that’s the name. They can’t know for sure because even people from 343 don’t know yet.

I’m calling it ‘Halo: Money Grabber Evolved’.
Seriously, I call it new halo.
