i have always been proud of my legendary Halo 5 Master Cheif armor but does everyone have it and am I proud of nothing?
btw I got this very early on so maybe it’s true 
Halo 5’s campaign gives you absolutely nothing for completing it on Legendary. The Mark IV is available through Gold Packs, though.

Most people got the Mark VI GEN1 (and its Scarred variant) by playing Halo 2’s campaign in MCC, so it was fairly easy to obtain until it got buggy.
I got it from Gold packs. I wear it a lot because it is simply the best armor. If you are talking about GEN 1 Mark VI, you get that from MCC.
The only armor I was proud of in H5 was helioskrill as I earned it from getting the legend achievement in MCC. Then they dumped it in the req system and lost it’s value really. There isn’t any armor to be proud of in H5 really. Sure some would say Achilles but to me that is just a group grind not really individually earned by skill.

Armor to be proud of per se in Halo 5? If you had friends help you get what you are wearing, it can have more meaning, which is something to be proud of, not to mention if you can keep a relatively similar look going with your armor throughout Halo: Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 5: Guardians as I have. I had some help with my armor setup which is why I am proud to be wearing what I am wearing:
Helmet: Operator GEN I (Came from Classic Helmet REQ Pack, bought it myself)
Armor: Nightfall (Had help obtaining that from s452 as I did not have an Xbox One at the time of Halo 5’s launch via him watching Nightfall on my account)
Visor: Mithral (Came from a Platnium REQ Pack gifted to me by MrMartini85)
Emblem: Drone (Came from a Gold REQ Pack gifted to me by Cizlin)
Considering three of my four aspects mentioned above came from friends in some iteration, it makes my armor setup something to be grateful for and be proud of. Also Achilles is earned via group grind and not skill. I have said armor and helmet and I really don’t care for it quite frankly.
On the topic of Mark VI, I do not have any variant of that and it would be nice to have for screenshot purposes in terms of creating screenshots of other player’s Spartans who wear it. I will have to grind it out and hope for the best with the RNG system as I am staying away from MCC.

It’s as easy to get as anything else in the Req system. Totally at random, especially if you haven’t unlocked all of your Silver tier Reqs.

Not quite. It’s Legendary Mythic, meaning it’s in the absolute rarest category. It’ll only drop from Gold packs or better, and chances are you’ll have gotten through most-to-all of your Ultra Rares and Legendaries before the Mythics start dropping.
