After winning a match of FFA, the same players in the next match, “attempt” to use my own loadout in the match? And “attempted” to turn my own tactics against me (no, I was not Camo Camping.) I’ve never seen players do this before.
And if you are wondering of what loadout I was using, it’s:
Primary: Storm Rifle
Secondary: Plasma Pistol
Grenade: Frag
AA: Active Camo
Armor Mod 1: Mobility
Armor Mod 2: Ammo
If it gets people to stop using the DMR until July then thank you.

They were copying my loadout, yes. After winning those matches, I guess they have something else to use.

Lol they copied storm rifle classes against you? Im guessing you were playing a group of friends that tried to troll you (and failed) with your own gun. Because NO ONE is envious of the storm rifle. Loadout in general was pretty bad, plasma pistol and storm rifle just don’t go together as well as a magnum would

So my skill in Halo is powered by purely chaotic gamemodes so Regicide and Rumble Pit are naturally my best gamemodes and so I use a carbine/thruster combo. There was this one match where I just obliterated everyone and after the match, most of the people stayed and the next game and when the game starts…

I agree completely but when I ask people how to become a giant -Yoink–bag like them they get mad at me; I don’t understand. =(
They are merely adapting, to beat the best you have to become the best, more or less.

While your intentions are admirable, your aproach is slightly less elegant. Contrary to popular belief people get offended when they get called -Yoink!–bags, instead you should compliment them first (f.e. wow you got so many kills without having to move at all for the whole match and it seemed like the enemy team didn’t even see you) and only after that you surprise the with your modest request.

No. This is just human psychology performing on the most basic level. Much like when an adult is doing something and a toddler sees it. The toddler will mimic the actions of the Adult but will do it unsuccessfully until they manage to figure it out on their own.
What is done by the toddler will continue to be a part of their learning process (and should be the learning process of any single human being) for the rest of their lives. Mimicry for the win. Whoop!

Right now I’m working on the Plasma Pistol and Storm Rifle commendations, so that is why both of them are on the same loadout. Storm Rifle alone I use pretty well.
