Hey guys,
I’ve been watching some Halo 5 Let’s Plays on Youtube and it seems to be a whole different game.
When I play, I feel like I die super quickly, like from 2-3 shots, even from super far away. But when I shoot someone, BR for example, I at least need like 6 shots even if he doesn’t really move and I hit the head. If I hit the body, people just don’t die. Often I thrust around a corner into cover but die anyway, even though I already made it out of sight. I looked at it in theatre mode and there were no grenades involved or other shooters or anything. At least not always.
Also my REQ menu is pretty slow and not very responsive. Also respawning takes some times sometimes. The counter is on 0 and I only respawn like 5-10 seconds later.
In the LPs it looks way more fluent and killing and shooting seems so much more effective. I feel like I’m playing in a paper armour with a water gun against spartans.
Okay, it’s not that bad, but it really pisses me off some times that I feel to have a real disadvantage here.
So, what can the problem be?
I opened the ports in the router menu.
My internet stats: down: 24k bit/sec, up: 4.6k bit/sec
I live in Germany.
Btw, I feel like my dashboard is also kinda slow. Can it be a problem with the xbox?

Are you connected to your router wire or wireless?
Also you may be getting into US servers and have a large ping (Not much you can do here).
Req menu is slow for me also. I think it got slower the more Reqs I unlock.

Wireless, I should buy a cable, shouldn’t I?
The server thing sucks. But there are European servers, too, I guess (and hope)?
Req menu: yeah, that seems to be the case. I have so many ARs, BRs and MGs… They need a better system to display or arrange them in a menu, not just a left to right list… It’s so annoying to keep track of what you have unloked and find the gun you need. Most of them I never ever use at all. I mean, who needs 6 battle rifles at req rank 3?
