I’m still on the fence about this one, especially since complaining makes me a hypocrit. I always hated Invisibility because it just wasn’t good enough. People could see me too easily, making Invisibility useless. Now it th ruly does work, often to my aggravation. Invisible shotgun lurkers frustrate me to no end. Today I was playing Warzone Assault trying to capture the garage. With great difficulty we started to capture, until we couldn’t kill one defender. I was on the ghost looking everywhere, but saw nothing. We lost. I went back into theater to discover somebody used Invisibility and was hiding. See if you can find him at the start of the clip. I outline him later so you know where he is.
Sorry about lazy link. Can’t do the hyperlink text. Any help would be appreciated
In the chaos of Warzone, this guy is impossible to see. I must admit, it feels damn good to use Invisibility and get multiple kills, or to sneak around in plain sight. However, used effectively, Invisibility is nearly impossible to defend against. Pretty much everything in Halo has a good Counter: Spartan Laser vs. Scorpion/Wraith, Plasma pistol vs. Smaller vehicles, overshield makes you stick out like a sore thumb… Invisibility? Prometian vision used to be the counter, but no more. Nearly perfect Invisibility has been a long time in coming for Halo, I would just like an effective way to counter it. What do you think?
I gotta agree the camo is a little bit op. Its way good AND they dont show up on radar. I think they could tweak it a bit for sure. My only real issue with mp atm.
I think invis is great in Arena, where it’s a pickup to be fought over, just like the older Halos (Halo 3 etc). Everyone has the chance to get it, it’s just like a power weapon
However, when it’s on tap, like Warzone, and in newer Halos, like Halo 4, it’s completely over powered. I guess at least it’s somewhat limited in Warzone, so compared to H4 it’s a step in the right direction.
No complains here.
I’ve died sometimes too soon when I get to use it. But thats just case the other team knows what they’re doing.
I think it’s good, honestly I think if a guy can make it work then good on him. But he should show up on the motion tracker if he starts to run around. (I can’t remember if they do or not)
Well, it uses the player as a counter. If you shoot, you become visible, if you run too fast you’ll become visible. But I guess it is kind of hard to counter in WZ if he stays passive in a base.
In the other modes it feels just fine. I gladly rack up kills like mad with it and gets owned plenty as well. That being said I have been killed quite often with it because I’ve become greedy just as I’ve killed people using it greedily.
Clip should be working now
No active camo should be good it’s a powerup for pete’s sake. It’s not op at all.
With advanced sensors it’s easy to detect. I think it’s ok.

Only if the guy is firing, sprinting or clambering up the walls.
I think in general for warzone maybe have it so that all defenders get the red arrow above their heads, like marines do, just so you have to fight for a base, not hide and hold it that way. Surely truly holding a base is to eliminate all enemies, not to camp and wait for them to leave?

It annoys me that 12 Attackers can scour the entire base looking for a Camo’d Defender… and that single one-man Defender can just contest an entire base. Why is there no weighted list to fix this?
No not op I spawned 3 in,in warzone got shot as soon as I walked forward
Invis is my favorite of all, closely followed by the overshield. I dont think its overpowered at all, you cannot sprint, sometimes when you dont even see your enemies the entire time and while shield is down. Though I do usually get 2-4 kills if you play it right.
The times it has caught me off guard, I was already engaged and the battle kept me from noticing it. Otherwise, it doesn’t fool me.
Im a Inivsibility hog and you would be surprised how many people see you…especially if you use your radar.
I love walking into a base checking for enemy campers then … grab the flag and leg’it LOL
I rarely use it, I killed when I use and killed by it… Still just a obstacle in the game… Game on
