With the cancelation of split screen co-op I’m left wondering what else is getting canceled? Has 343 even talked about infection before? I assumed it would come out in October, but i didn’t see it mentioned on the road map and now that I think about it, I’m not sure if infection has ever been mentioned at all. Does anyone know? I feel like Forge loses a lot of it’s charm without Infection accompanying it to make duck hunt or fat kid maps.

343 doesn’t care about social gamemodes. “Halo is a hyper-competitive arena shooter” is what they said they think Halo is. They only care about competitive gamemodes. I don’t see us getting any social or multi-team game modes anytime soon, or even in another year. Someone already made the mode in Forge, so you’ll just have to wait till Forge comes out to play the one made by the community

I really hope that we get infection specifically in a playlist. It’s such a fun relaxing gamemode to play.

Not until forge drops. They’re going to let the community make all the missing game modes. But we have to wait for season 3 for a custom game browser so finding a game if infection will require discord and/or lfg on Xbox. Still sound relaxing?

I’m sure it will come out because I think I saw a bunch of infection medals somewhere on some stat tracking site I used.

Medals don’t mean much to me. They might have added them with the intent to make infection, but they might have a roadblock that keeps them from making the mode, and then they’ll have to cancel it.
