I’m confused as to whether this gamemode is ever returning. How did grifball get mentioned before any other missing gamemode such as KOTH, Oddball, Assualt or Infection?
I miss playing fat kid, duck hunt, infection mansion, get out of my house and I feel like with halo 5’s forge so many insane infection maps can be made.
But most of all I miss the infection playlist from matchmaking. 343 gave me an impossible task when they made the max level 50 million XP, and I don’t think I can get there playing warzone alone.

The lack of infection and other missing launch game modes confuses everyone. I’m certain infection will be added but probably not any time soon. They recently briefly touched on game modes like Grifball and Fiesta possibly returning which would be more likely to come before infection since they haven’t mentioned Infection yet at all in the same capacity, meaning we’ll have to wait even longer for it. Surely it doesn’t take THAT long to code a gametype like infection? Jesus
No. If I had access to halo 5’s source code, I would code it myself.
