Ever since the birth of armor customization in Halo, by far, my favourite set has been Hayabusa. I saw a picture of it with a 343 logo in the background, and I was wondering if this is a hoax, or if it’s the real deal. Thanks
I hope not. I can still hear the 10 year Olds bragging about it in H3. Those demon scrills!!!
That was H4 concept art. The reason it wasn’t in 4 was because the armour’s original creators, Team Ninja (they gave Bungie permission to use Ryu Hayabusa’s likeness in exchange for a playable Spartan in DOA4) vetoed it being in 4. Thus, it won’t be showing up in 5.

Short answer: no, Hayabusa is not coming back. The picture you probably saw was legit, but it was from the early stages of Halo 4. They ultimately decided against including it for reasons unknown. Probably because the armor is from another game and they need the studio’s permission to use it.
I miss it too, but sadly I don’t think we’ll ever see it again.
I can tell you its not one of the 71 launch amours. could potentially come later but they would need Team Ninja’s permission.
