If I could go back in time with the knowledge I have now. I would rent Halo 5 instead for the campaign and then bring it back. It’s a solid shooter, but not my style. I have way more fun in Destiny.
For me…no. It’s not bad overall but not really that great, imo. I hit onyx in swat after a few hours and the hit detection is garbo. I was getting headshots not even shooting near the head. One guy was boosting from platform to platform. Shot him in the feet gave me a headshot.
Just other nitpicking things. I’m going to play it till battle front and black ops 3 then I’m done.
I feel I got my $60 out of it so far. I’ve got about about 15 hours into it and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. The campaign is either hit or miss. You’ll love it or hate it, but the multiplayer is where I’ve sunk most of my time. It’s a blast with friends, solo isn’t as fun but it’s still a good experience. So if you enjoy shooters get halo. If you have a bunch of friends who are on the fence, convince them to get it with you so you have a team to play with. In my honest opinion I feel this game has a very good chance of getting fps of the year. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fps games.
Best MP since Halo 3. I’ve enjoyed the campaign so far, so yes, for me, it was 100% worth it.

i have bought every halo game ever since you guys started the halo series, every halo game that you made has been almost completely flawless. Im a huge fan.
for some -Yoink- -Yoinking!- reason you greedy pieces of shiet decided to make this new halo game all about trying to increase profit, You guys removed the split-screen feature that had been in every halo game. This feature is one of the main reasons that everybody bought the game. You -Yoinking!- -Yoink- lovers are saying that you removed this feature to make the grafics better, but really there was no need to remove the split-screen to have better graphics. You only did this in order to force someones brother or sister or friend to buy a new xbox one in order to play halo witch was a stupid -Yoinking!- idea in your part because no one that lives in the same house as someone who already has an xbox one is gonna buy a new one. Not everyone wants to play online you -Yoinking!- suppository lovers, and now you made it impossible to play local with friends and family in the same screen. You require an online membership just to play this new game. ¿did your mom shoved that many suppositorys in your -Yoinks!- as children to make you -Yoinking!- idiots think this was a good idea???
did your wives cheated on you that many times with your fathers to mess up your head that much that you decided to make halo 5 very similar to call of duty???
you disappointed myself and a lot of the halo community with this. You -Yoinking!- foot job lovers need to fix this mistakes by creating an update now, or many people are going to return this game because you and this game both suck a tremendous amount of -Yoink-.
Love it. Awesome so far. Give is a week or 2 to see how MP plays out. Halo 4 was good for a week then crap hit the fan.
It is a decent game just don’t expect the relative greatness of the original trilogy. The campaign rehashes quite a few concepts from those games as far as level design I would have to replay those to be more specific. The story is forgettable all you can take away from it is not the experience but the setup for Halo 6. The PvP is OK more classics halo (not like Halo 4) and Warzone is just slow paced due to the slow re-spawn times.
The game is definitely worth it.

You’re only here to promote those games, just admit it. You also have that backwards, Multiplayer is the best part of this Halo.
I’ve liked all the modes so far. I like the multiplayer much more than Halo 4. The changes they made to the default Assault Rifle definitely make the game more fun since you’re not always scavenging to find a new weapon right away.

This Battlefront pisses on the legacy of the original games, frankly. Vehicles shouldn’t be powerups, that’s just so… Wrong. You cant actually control the AT-AT’s, air vehicles are on rails for the first 5 or so seconds of gameplay once you get control of them, so if someone else is in the air they will usually have a good chance to get a few shots on the newcomer, there were no classes in it, the sniper was a card (and an insanely powerful one at that, especially with its extremely low recharge time compared to other abilities) No, Halo 4 was better than the new battlefront , and that’s the worst of the Halo games.
Black Ops Three I cant speak for, though Blops 2 was good compared to most of the later CoD’s. As a casual experience I suppose I can see the appeal, so if my friends like it I will probably buy it to play with them. Otherwise, I doubt it will be anything extraordinary, though that’s kind of why it appeals to people.

No. 343i have destroyed Halo. Any real fan since CE can see this, it’s unrecognisable now. RIP Halo.
Halo is worth it. If your talking about halo 5 though, IDK cuz I don’t have it yet.
