I thought they fixed it. I’m sitting here waiting to start a custom match. It’s been 10 mins of loading screens.
They fixed the server issues form a couple of weeks ago where you literally couldn’t log into the multiplayer servers, but there has been no patch to fix game stability or bugs… best bet is to quit game and restart.
Yes, Halo Wars 2 is still broken,
I got the game on PC and Xboxone back when the game first came out, at the time my PC was more than capable of running the game,
I did manage to play through the story mode once, however skirmish mode or whatever they call it now, I can start a game, play for a bit then it will crash,
I don’t know if I had ever finished a skirmish mode game without a crash, usually close to the end of the game before a possible victory or defeat.
For me regardless of where I play Halo Wars 2 be it on the PC on the Xbox one or on the Xbox series X the game still crashes, alot.
And my definition of a crash is the screen freezes, a sound is stuck in a loop and total loss of controls, if lucky I may be returned to Xbox dashboard for console or desktop on PC.

What the hell is 343 doing ?!?!?!?!
I just updated my hardware, and I’m in the same situation - crashes, freezes, I can’t go five minutes without something to break the game entirely.
Before I updated my hardware, everything was just fine. To make matters worse, it looks like Halo Support doesn’t offer issue submissions for Halo Wars 2.
