Is halo wars 2 + halo wars 1 on PC dead as I cannot find a game.
Also machining menu is rubbish as (from what I have seen so far) you cannot pick to do a 1v1 2v2 or 3v3 plus what map you want.

It was first made for Mac until Microsoft took it.
Then halo CE came out on PC same day as xbox so ye enjoy the rest of your day.

I know halo games after halo 2 was all xbox but were not talking about 1 game being for xbox or pc it was halo in general. (i played the crap out of walo wars on 360)

We can’t but at least the game isn’t dead for us.
PC players are waiting for a patch, the game is far too unstable to play.
I can’t understand how people are actually happy about it. That’s such a childish, elitist and disgusting attitude. Let’s hope the leak about moving HW1 on Steam is real, at least I could play the original. Problem is HW2 imho is miles batter. SIGH!
To be fair though, this is the first night in over a month where I had problems finding players.
Having Halo on PC and Xbox can only be good for everybody if done right. Developers get more money and more money can be invested into the game making it better.

I don’t really think you can have a successful RTS on both console and PC. It needs to be made for one or the other. Either mouse & keyboard controls are shoe-horned into gamepad controls or vice-versa.
For it to work for both, both need their own unique controls that work best for themselves, and that would require changes in the control interface for both platforms.
For an example: Circle menus work well on console because they allow for streamlined selections with a gamepad. Circle menu on PC is counter-intuitive and limits function because a mouse (& keyboard) allow for faster, more precise movement that allows for more complex menu systems in-game (even without hotkeys).

Best soluition there, especially if done right. At worst you’d have the PC folks complaining about “console graphics”, but it’d be the best of both worlds. HW1 I’d say was 'So nice, I bought it twice" - I’d get it for both platforms. I got Subnautica on both PC and X1, and I’d get HW2 on the PC too if it wasn’t limited to just Windows 10 as i’m still running 7 here.
