Since MOR arrived, I was thinking about if reach should be canon. From what I can gather, the game not only contradict fall of reach, but many other halo books as well. So is it consider canon? And if so, do you think it should?
personally, I don’t think so since the story of fall of reach is much better.
It’s a full title game release, not an EU book. Halo Reach also sold near 10 million copies, and The Fall of Reach wouldn’t have sold close to that many, so you have to think. More people know Halo Reach to be the only events of Reach.
But there was enough people that got mad at reach for being constantly inconsistent with halo lore. It didn’t just retcon fall of reach it basically retcon every halo book if it is canon. That would definitely piss off the hard core halo players that follow the lore extensively
