Might Buy These Two Games. I Already Have Halo 4. I Haven’t Heard Recently (June-July 2015) If Halo Reach’s Or Halo 3’s Multiplayer. Any Answer Would Be Much Appreciated 
Halo Reach is very active with around 20k in population, being more active than Halo 4. Halo 3’s population on the Xbox 360 is around 350 - 3k+, mainly just custom games, lone wolves and team slayer/social slayer. Social Big Team ctf was the best… I hope it’s on Xbox One for the MCC. No Halo Reach is a very active online mutiplayer. I’ve played Halo 3 multiplay and there was a good amount of players still on.

3 has around 600 players when I am one but the servers are laggy as hell, but Reach still is the second most played Halo game in my opinion.
I find matches in team slayer quite quickly on halo reach.

I also saw this but it’s clearly a glitch. Reach is far from dead.
I find games like SWAT and Slayer faster on Reach than Halo 4 or Halo 5…

I find every mode faster than I would on 4 and 5 playing reach, sad isn’t it?
I still play Reach to this day. I recently rehooked my old 360 up to play some of the older games I had. Seeing as I still have some ranking to do in Reach, I play it a lot. I kinda find it funny that the lobbies/servers say that there isn’t anyone online, but there are still a fair amount of people that play. And don’t let people tell you that the only people that are left are diehard Inheritors and the likes. I see an Inheritor like once every dozen games. Shoot, I am just about to hit the rank of General Grade 4, and most matches are full of players much lower rank than I am. Though going off how they play, I would assume some are players that have maxed out their profile and either reset it or made a new account to go back through the ranking again.

I think it’s a glitch because every time I get on and do a SWAT match, each round I am in are 3v3 or 4v4 still.
