Hey everyone I’ve been trying to log onto halo pc but no matches are showing up anymore. is it because gamespy closed down so the servers shut down? If so that makes me extremely sad.
The servers haven’t been shut down, I’ve just got on myself and still see a lot of servers.
The servers should be up.
Maybe your connection’s messed up?

There are tons of servers.
Zombies, Heavy-weapons-only, modded to the point of rage, race, CTF, there are lots of players.
This game is far from dead, man.
I had never played before, but I’ve just tried it and it was glorious! 
LOVED IT!
Great PC game!
Only challenge is to find a server that doesn’t feature any mods but vanilla (or custom edition) Halo and/or is not heavy weapons only or stuff like that, but default gametypes. And if you do, it’s usually CTF on Blood Gulch which - while fun - can become a bit boring after a while.

If you’re having issues seeing any matches/servers, please double check to see if you’re game is up to date, and if that’s still the issue, maybe you should try playing Halo Custom Edition.
