I think it is in the right path with 343 since bungie lost its sprit with Destiny making it to repitave and unbalanced MP and always having a power weapon already on you. Some things I can argue 343 but thay did better with campaign and MP then Halo 4 did so I think they are on the right path on Halo. You guys may argue but as the community we can help make Halo just like we did with Halo 5 the way it is.
I think they are on the right path forsure compared to Halo 4. There is still a lot of room for improvement but i’m hyped for whats going on right now.
Yep, agreed. I LOVE Halo 5. I strongly disliked Halo 4. Awesome new weapons. Now I just need the Helioskrill and Achilles armor/helmets and I’ll be content, lol

I think 343 has the correct heading and all, but there is definitely still room for improvement.

Hands on your use of the right path , if you’re talking about development , it’s a work in progress. If you talk about spiritual theological , psychological, philosophical, or journey to uncover truth , that’s more than my understanding . But I have to say , there’s a lot of judgment end snap decisions about development of games these days . I’m glad I don’t have to develop games or make these choices . I much rather prefer just to play them from time to time .
Yes and no. If we compare Halo 5 only to Halo 4, then yes, 343 is on the right path. But there is still a long way to go before I would consider it better than the originals. 343 is on the right path in the way they stripped out the loadouts and ordinance drops, but then they stumbled by failing to strip out the sprinting and zany movement mechanics.
Halo 5 is truly kicking ar*e and am sure with more modes coming and game types its not going to slow down. Tips my hat to 343i

It’s not really “more” when it takes something away. The addition of sprinting, thrusters, etc took away the comfortable, medium pacing from the franchise. I would much rather have the old pacing than the sprinting, etc.
The REQ system and the fact that it lacked content at launch means no. But the squad in campaign and smooth gameplay says yes.

If the right way is killing a beloved character in halo 4 and then in halo 5 bring that same character back, exept this time said character is gone badshit crazy. then yes halo is headed the right way. (This is serius sarcasm, people. Halo is heading the wrong way).
Nope. Halo Reach is the pinnacle of the Halo games to this point. Halo 5 has no firefight or spartan ops which is totally inexcusable. Then they left out campaign commendations, campaign scoring and par times. This game took one step forward and two steps back! Sure the multiplayer experience is better than Halo 4 and is generally liked better by the community, but at the cost of the PvE side of the game which is now severely lacking depth.
343 needs to focus more on hitting all the details that truly make a Halo game top notch. It sucks cause the level design and game play are good in this campaign but leaving out those options is just a slap to the face of the PvE players.

Firefight is 100% PvE; Warzone is 90% PvP, 7% objective and 3% PvE, it"s not even close jr.

It’s really hard to score above halo 1-Reach. 5 is by fare more of an exciting halo experience compared to 4. Halo’s Esport though won’t be able to grasp the audience like halo 2 and 3. That was Halo’s prime and sales so don’t prove much. Long term player base proves much more.
