Is halo more of a multilayer game?

I was wondering do you guys think that halo is more of multiplayer game instead of a campain game? Like battlefield how they are know for pretty much just multiplayer. Or is halo 50% campaign and 50% multiplayer?

PS should I play halo 1 though 4 on MCC for just the campaigns? Is it worth it?

If you have never played Halo CE to Halo 4, then its worth to pick up.

This is most definitely the case for Halo 5 IMO.

Halo CE, Halo2, and Halo 3 all have incredible story and multiplayer. You should try both. I personally only liked Halo 4 for its campaign.

Halo is a campaign game. If it was strictly multiplayer barely anybody would bother playing.

In my opinion, you’re getting more bang for your buck with the multiplayer.
Campaigns in every Halo are okay, with the exception of Reach and ODST which have amazing campaigns (once again - in my opinion).
In general, I have more fun and get the best experience out of the multiplayer.
If you own the MCC, I suggest playing through the campaigns, they’re not that long if you’re playing on normal difficulty. If you don’t own it, I’m sure it’s not super pricey now (probably around $20?). If you’re looking to try out some multiplayer on MCC, I’d advise against it and just jump straight to H5.

I suggest you try out MCC’s campaigns and try out its forge and multiplayer and then do the same for H5. Depending on which you prefer then use the one your more comfortable with.

For me multiplayer is the big attraction. Campaigns nice and I do enjoy the lore but multiplayer is key.

And you should absolutely buy MCC and play through H1-4.
