I remember meeting a group of nerdy kids who were pissed at me for liking Halo:Legends and said that it wasn’t canon, and that a bunch of people who did it got fired by Bungie. Even though i thought 343 did it? They aren’t under contract with Bungie? Is this true/will they ever make any other series like Legends any time soon?
Legends is canon.
This has no relevance to the H4 forum.
I thought it was canon. I liked it to. Odd One Out was a bit overkill but still entertaining. Only thing I didn’t like was the green blood in The Package.

All were, except for Odd One Out.

What about The Package? Didn’t George die in that one?

As much as I want it not to be, Legends is canon.
Legends was basically commissioned by 343 and the animation was done by various anime studios.

You don’t have to consider it canon if you don’t want to. I don’t consider anything outside the games to be canon, and I’m much happier for it (particularly in the case of the dreadful Forerunner Saga).
Legends is canon, but the game over rules everything else.

But how IS Halo Legends cannon? I remember that Thel 'Vadam (the Arbiter) dies in the episode “The Duel”. How can Thel be dead if he is in Glasslands and supposedly in Halo 5??

First, read the forum rules. Don’t necropost, this thread is A YEAR OLD.
Second, for your question, the Arbiter in ‘The Duel’ is not Thel 'Vadam. The name of this Arbiter is Fal 'Chavamee.
It’s considered canon, but I’d prefer to have it as a non-canon thing due to the very obvious retcon that was continued to be built upon where there were more than 40 active Spartans before Sam-034 died, unlike the 33 that were SUPPOSED TO BE ACTIVE, AND NO MORE THAN 33!
And yes, I know that this problem existed before Legends, it only got worse as time went on… -.-
And I just realized that this was a year old. 0_0
This thread is not only in the wrong spot, but also totally old.
