Don’t think there’s any legal application of ‘live service’. Even if there was, Halo Infinite’s campaign and MP is technically the same game.

343 said before release halo infinite will be a 10 year game they did not state Campaign would be a 10 year game most companies would be meaning the multiplayer side of things which is what i assume 343 meant.
I personally dont mind as they have butchered the story to death anyway since halo 4 onwards

You’re right. They definitely needed to add more hexagons.
Correct. Half goes to the HCS fund. Other half goes to the partnered org you chose.
Also worth noting that they’ve made more money from Tashi343 fining pro players speaking out about the state of the game than they have selling cosmetics to the HCS crowd.
Lethul, a longstanding halo pro who appears in nearly every grand finals was fined several thousand USD for his feedback on the game. They instead saw it as slander and a violation of his contract.
Similar situation happened to Spartan who has been around since H2A. Except I think he was fined 2 separate times.

Halo infinite was mediocre at best the story was weak
Major sections of story missing between games as always! (possibly explained in other forms of content though such as books when it should be in game) but hey ho thats 343 and there lazy/greedy marketing tactics!
Characters killed off screen or not even mentioned at all
boring repetative missions with same objectives… put the weapon down at this door, ohh no she cant open the door, find a power seed to open the door…

Agreed. What makes me the most mad is that it seems likely that the content that was cut in development will be bundled up and sold for another $60 next year.
Infinite is the very first Halo campaign that I did not buy. Played it once on game pass, figured I’d come back when it was finished. It certainly feels like there is a huge amount of stuff missing, and the open world is absolutely derelict.
