Is Halo Infinite your main multiplayer fix?

For Xbox it is for me, I don’t play any other multiplayer games. I always have to play solo as none of my friends play it.

Overall, I play a lot more Overwatch 2 because my irl friends play it and I also enjoy it a lot. So I even play it solo sometimes too when they’re not on.

Lately have been playing some VR multiplayer too with some new friends I’ve made online. Shame we probably won’t ever be getting an official Halo VR as Microsoft has abandoned VR gaming.

No, not for me. PUBG is my main multiplayer game.

Not true, PC…

I usually play Halo as my main MP, and occasionally rotate in some Battlefield. Tbf I haven’t played 2042 since it’s beta though lol.

I’m pretty happy with S3 so far, and it might pull me back into Infinite being my main game. From about Nov 2022 until the S3 launch I was mostly just playing State of Decay 2, and only playing Infinite if I didn’t already have the weekly unlock.

I tried the beta, was awful. Apparently they updated it quite a bit, supposed to be better now but I haven’t enjoyed Battlefield since Bad Company.

Season 3 is fun, but I’ve only played it twice so far. The escalation gametype is one of my favourite modes in gaming generally and I like how they’ve implemented it. Couldn’t get a game of community playlist but also looking forward to playing that.

Always Halo, from CE to Infinite, not kean on cod or bf partly due to how world is, always something with Halo that keeps me there, also play MCC.

Not really.
Now and then I play Halo Wars 2, then I might hop on some Heroes of the Storm.
If I feel like it I may hop onto DotA 2 but that’s a rarity.
Played some AoE 2 somewhat recently as well with friends.
I’m leaning towards more single player games now though, however I may take up Barotrauma with some friends, was hoping they’d join me in Sons of the Forest, which is quite entertaining and currently the right amount of scary, though I suspect it’ll ramp up soon.

Currently yes. I did some Destiny for a while because I have friends that are into it. But Halo’s been a staple of mine for literal decades. Kinda hard to break from it even after being treated like dog -Yoink!- by 343 with their greedy schemes.

Yeah that was me for a long while. Have been buying less games since being a dad so back on multiplayer.

Ive been playing more mcc on steam than halo infinite.
And plenty of quake live but my go to mp fix right now is northstar, the titanfall2 fan support.

With season 3 im playing more infinite on console though.

Especially now im finished playing prime remastered.

When H4 came out and didnt go back to the original gameplay that made Halo popular I built a pc to play Counterstrike because that game has stayed the same since it was made over 20 years ago now. I wouldnt say its my main game but I play it a lot more then Infinite. Also play battlefield 2042 now that it is reverting back to the class system instead of continuing to chase the broader audience. Then theres PUBG and Overwatch. Actually I play a lot of different games now and I should thank 343 for that.

edit - almost forgot, i still play H2/H3

Currently it is. I swap it with Battlefield 2042, considering that its fourth season started as well, and a year later 2042 is actually a much better and more fun game - along with its price being reduced to 18-20 bucks.

Infinite still needs some work though, sadly. I enjoy its gameplay and its more arcadey elements but playing between Infinite and Battlefield 2042 makes me realize that Infinite really needs to emphasize more of its chilled, fun elements; namely PvE modes like Firefight, PvP like Infection, leaning more on community/Forge-made content like a BTB Community Playlist, and making it all around smoother on the technical level.

Is a bit of a bummer to see how much 2042 had improved when it started out as literally unplayable/broken while Infinite…still has a lot of shortcomings.

I’ve been playing DMZ (Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2) for a while now. I logged onto Infinite a week or so ago when Season 3 went live to check it out but I just have no desire to play it. Until the game stops punishing me for trying to enjoy it I don’t know if I’ll come back to it.

I certainly won’t be buying another Halo game though. It’s the end of the road for me.

Halo 4, Halo 5, Halo MCC and Halo Infinite were just not good enough and I’m tired of it now.

It is right now as I can’t stand the current state of Overwatch. I may get back into Destiny and I’ve been playing Warhammer a fair amount recently.

it is for me my other 2 games games are mainly fortnite and Overwatch. I sometimes play cod but I get the most frustrated with that one lol

Bad Company 2 was definitely the final game before the downhill trajectory started for that series. I still enjoyed BF3 quite a bit, but nothing since then. BF2042 only exists to make us feel better about the relative state of Halo Infinite.

To answer the OP’s question. Halo is my only online game now but like others I’ve been playing more single player recently.

It’s mine for sure…. When the game lets me play and doesn’t glitch up. Which has been the case lately. i don’t care for cod, don’t really like the gameplay and quick ttk. I’ll play Fortnite with my kid if he wants to play duo split screen but other than that halo is it. Just wish it ran smoother.

Edit: just got on and all my settings have been reset…wtf

Ark: Survival Evolved is my main now. I still hop on Halo daily.

I’ve actually never played another oine multiplayer game/franchise.

I’d never thought of that before.

Halo 5, Halo Infinite, MCC in that order. Until I reach SR152 in Halo 5. I don’t know what then to be honest.
