343 has made me VERY excited several times. and each time I get more than disappointed. Remember, this is MY opinion. (btw i’m using the forums for their attended purpose, Feedback, so I don’t expect this to be locked or anything :/)
Lets start out with Halo 4’s multiplayer and forge, VERY underwhelming! and Halo 5’s campaign looked promising before launch, turned out AWFUL. Halo 5’s forge announcement was amazing, but it was delayed almost 2 months after launch. (Release date Surprisingly wasn’t mentioned in the teaser). Halo 5’s art style, 343, why is everything white and plastic looking??? This isn’t Advanced Warfare, this is Halo. Halo once had a VERY iconic and unique art style, stick with that.
Halo 5 Warzone Firefight doesn’t even deserve the “firefight” title, the ONLY resemblance is fighting AI instead of players. The Warzone firefight is more like a watered down version of Warzone (killing bosses) and Warzone Assault (defending the garage)
It just feels like every time 343 gets me hyped for something, they end up putting their own “twist” on things that just downright ruin them, or they just end up being awful.
343’s tactics to making a good Halo game aren’t working, I mean half of Halo’s community/biggest fans dislike it the most.
I feel 343 needs to find the RIGHT people for the job, they’ve either moved people to positions they defiantly shouldn’t be in, or hired people they shouldn’t have. They need to hire long time Halo fans that understand and appreciate the game for what made it special. I just want a Halo that would stay true to its name, deliver a great story and experience.

Honestly I don’t think 343 is right for Halo, I feel like they have to make everything their own instead of swallowing their pride and accepting that Bungie did some things better than them, however I’m not a particularly big fan of Bungie either. I feel like 343 has some okay ideas but they don’t work for the Halo franchise. They had three chances and every chance they let me down harder than the last and honestly I will not be buying the next Halo game made by them, which is saying something considering how big of a Halo fan wish I could still say I was. At this point I would rather them just end Halo before its damaged beyond repair and If 343 where to start a new and original Ip I would definitely check it out (not likely to happen, but if H6 ends up like H4 or 5, 343 might have a lot of free time).

343 can make an absolutely amazing game, I just don’t think Halo is their thing.
(WARNING 100% Opinion → )I am honestly most devastated on the inability to customize your spartan more, and the color purple in the color pallet still is too magenta for me.
I do agree on your logic on how Halo 5 is right now. The campaign should have been phenomenal since it was the way to introduce a new Halo to the Xbox one.
343 should just make their own IP, seriously they can make games but it isn’t suited to the Halo franchise, I would happily play Halo 5 more and enjoy it more if it didn’t Halo my Halo expectations behind it, the problem is I expect a Halo game and 343 don’t give me a true representation of that

I pretty much agree with this, 343 have made a great game, they’ve had some miss steps with MCC but Halo 5 is really very enjoyable and I don’t understand the hate towards them. It is never easy to take on a game created by another studio, but 343 have done a good job and I am encouraged by the future

Who exactly developed and released Halo 5?
Anyone being “toxic” now has no relevancy to i343 releasing Halo 5 with Five / Six gametypes, depending on where you put Breakout.

Maybe they shouldn’t release the game with low content and a bait and switch campaign?
Maybe they shouldn’t remove the splitscreen at all?
Maybe they shouldn’t have lied about the campaign in the first place?
Maybe they and MS shouldn’t released MCC broken and lied about it? 343’s B-team comment anyone?
Maybe they shouldn’t screw up Halo 4 multiplayer and Spartan Ops?

The Bungie who was involved with Halo 1-3, reach and odst does not exist anymore. Bungie literally is a different company today.
