Remember back in the late 80’s/early 90’s when the guys at coca cola announced they had changed the formula? Everyone complained that the new formula was terrible and they wanted the old one back.

Coke then released Coca-Cola Classic which was lapped up by everyone and in the long run Coke made a profit?

Could this be what 343 are doing?
