Is halo 5 worth the buy?

Well Halo 5 actually works while MCC still has bugs. But it depends on your preference of Halo. If you liked Reach and H4 odds are you will like H5. But if you absolutely despised those Halos odds are you won’t enjoy H5. Another factor is why do you play Halo. If it’s for multiplayer only H5 maybe the way to go as MCC can be hit or miss if the multiplayer actually works. I still play MCC multiplayer from time to time and sometimes I find games and sometimes I don’t. If you are still campaign player MCC maybe the way to go as you get 4 of them and H2 anniversary is just epicness and the best campaign ever. H5 campaign while had a couple good missions was really short and not much with it. You only play as master chief in three missions and only a few missions are fun enough to repeat. But as a huge Halo fan I say get both

Like the guy before me said, do you prefer the older classic Halos that had no sprint/wer actually fun to play, or did you prefer the newer ones that became a Grind fest for kill comendations n’ such. Personally I don’t think Halo 5 is a bad buy, but if you are skeptical, instead of buying it new for $60, get a cheap used copy from Gamestop(or your preferred Video Game Retailer) or borrow it from a friend.

Do you want campaign or multiplayer?

Ignore the fact a lot of people don’t like Halo 5’s story… Halo MCC just has 5 campaigns. That sheer number is amazing.

If you want multiplayer, well Halo 5 is pretty sick.

If you want forge, again, Halo 5. Where it may still be missing some features. The scripting, terrain, and frequent updates is making H5’s forge the best forge.

Buy MCC for now. Wait until the summer when they have more content, because it’s quite dry and incomplete, not to mention the low populations and the bad content such as the campaign, also the bugs and bad server health.

TL;DR: Read the damn post you lazy kids lol

It’s not that bad. Besides. If you wait till this summer, with all the new req packs it’s going to take forever to unlock anything good.

Just wait for other games to come out, neither are really worth your money. The Division is comingg out soon so play the open beta on the 18th and see if you like it. If you really insist on buying halo then buy them used so 343 don’t get any money.

The salt against 343i is real, ouch.

Well Halo 5 get’s a lot of hate for being of the worst Halo games so I recommend getting Halo MCC plus Halo MCC has the original trilogy.

Take a look at forge and the new update and decide.

Haha. Get H5 bud. As sad as it is, no one plays MCC anymore. Get Halo 5.

For me absolutely, best multiplayer shooter I’ve played in years. Get both, MCC should be really cheap now.

Really? Neither are really worth your money? The OP can decide what is worth his money and what isn’t. Besides, the MCC has 4 campaigns for the price of one game. Plus $5 more will get you a fifth campaign, which is 3: ODST. H5G has an excellent multiplayer, but the campaign is more or less a warm pile of horse crap. But you might find it easier to borrow a copy of each and try them out for yourself and then decide which to buy.

Halo 5 is the better game when compared to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Just don’t buy it.

get mcc first. if you are up for another game get halo 5

Get h5. The longer you wait the worst the population will decline, as other games replace it. MCC was a nice blast of the past, but has a very small population.

If you want the more classic take on halo then get mcc, people still play it, there are 4 games and it’s bungie’s creation. If you want a newer 343i take which is a faster pace more cod feel (no offense) try h5. Honestly h5 is pretty dry and I feel like it was put together lazily and is still missing a lot but with time it should be updated.

Halo 5 has a subpar campaign and good multiplayer.

The MCC has four amazing to decent campaigns with excellent, varied multiplayer.

I think the choice is clear if you can only buy one.

Well we know which game you’d pick…
