Is Halo 5 worth $60 after Warzone FF update?

Hello everyone,
Im not sure if anyone feels the same way I do about this, but for me, I finally feel like this game is complete. We finally have all the pieces that makes a real halo game. And my question/prompt to you guys is: Was it worth the wait? Does the content fit the community’s standards to keep it alive and thriving? And overall, What should be changed?

Along with it, I’m eager to see what people think of this new update, what do you guys enjoy about this update? (it doesn’t just have to be about Warzone Firefight, it can be about the new vehicle, maps, hcs skins, etc.) As well as what you didn’t enjoy about this update.

Please give me your honest response, have a great day everyone!

Not to mention Campaign theater, fixing theater in general, and more playlists. This game isn’t finished yet.

I don’t think everyone will be happy until Halo 5 contains every asset, weapon, armor piece, game mode, feature, etc. from Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4 combined … not to mention the new additions. So no, because that’s ridiculous. They have to redevelop seven damn games just to make one “complete” now? Go fold a piece paper in half seven times.

That’s why this game is almost 20gb larger than the Master Chief Collection (that’s not the only reason, of course, better textures and audio and so fourth, but you get my point). It’s actually the exact same size as the MCC + Reach + Halo Wars on my Xbox One.

Personally, I’m fine with it. Throw Fiesta in there as a permanent and we’re cool. Oh, and the proper Mark V. See? I’m doing it too. lol

But compared to a ton of games out there, it is complete. But honestly, the term “Is the game complete” is all based on opinion.

Now the real question is, is it worth it’s asking price? the answer is 100% yes

The word “complete” is officially meaningless when a game like Destiny can rise to the top by making a science of overcharging for a game which has incompleteness baked into it, Overwatch goes orbital with no content at all, and Guardians is still being questioned even when its content outstripped every other franchise months ago and has now finally outstripped every older Halo game as well.

Isnt it free for a week? I will admit if you buy it now for ~$30 then sure its value is approximate. There are still issues with theater which is annoying. Hopefully more gametypes and playlists resemble the halos of old’s offerings. One can hope.

There’s not one of those things I would pick over the playlists we have in H5 right now. But congrats, you can name a lot of game types that have existed through the halo franchise. You are truly a true halo fan. Truly.

Most of these game types weve had in the form of an objective playlist. Would you be against that?

I feel that head hunter should be added in. I also think that there should be like a way that you can pick from custom games that people have made and play with people online that you don’t know. I personally have no friends that are devoted halo fans and I’m just getting there myself so when it comes to custom games such as the ones I see on YouTube channels I can never play those. I have been invited to several clan things though. Can I play game mode variants with them? And do you think 343 industries would ever add this custom game option In arena??

The reason we even have things like BTB, Grifball, and Infection is because of community outcry and demand. Plus what’s good for you doesn’t apply to the population as a whole. Some of us want a true Objective Playlist. Not to mention the possibilities when combining gametypes with forge.

Nope. Still a lot of game modes, armor, weapons, and vehicles that are missing to complete the experience… also Warzone Firefight sucks. Once again, they catered to the elitists and gave everyone else the middle finger, and now the majority of players going it alone in matchmaking can’t even get past the 3rd round. Far from solving the problems in the Beta, they made them 10x worse.

NO, H5 will not be complete until it is has Action Sack as permanent gametype.

When I heard they made it harder. This is exactly what I was saying. Catering to the smallest group. Brilliant. /sarc

Well the amount of content it has now, I think it lives up more to it’s $60 price tag then a lot of games I know that people drool all over right now.
