Is Halo: 5 the worst Halo?

no, halo 4 was my least favorite multiplayer experience from the halo series.

Bonjour, halo 5 n’est pas le pire, bon c’est vrai que le système d’armure et vite fait mets sinon c’est un excellent jeu.

Not the worst but not the best in some areas

Personally I think that you just made this after seeing other complaints about Halo 5 and love to spread the negativity

I personally think the multiplayer is revolutionary for a Halo game, although there are issues with the RNG whole req system, however I think the campaign was one of the worst, or possibly the worst out all all the FPS Halo titles. Marketing lied straight to our faces, telling us that Chief had done something so terrible that he needed to be put down, this hyped an already failed campaign, so when we actually played the campaign it left as with confusion and anger. There wasn’t really any in depth character development, I can understand why with Blue team considering they only got TWO MISSIONS!, which in my books was totally unacceptable, but there’s no excuse why Osiris couldn’t have been developed a bit more, making us feel certain emotions towards them when something actually happened. The story wasn’t coherent and was a bit all over the place. Also WARDEN Fu*king ETERNAL — OVERUSED and BLAND. Yeah they patched the campaign, 6 months too late I had already beaten the game on legendary so had to painstakingly hit warden time and time again, and it was frustrating as hell when ammo ran out. So what did we get for completely said game on legendary — ONE CUT SCENE — yeah, so no SPECIAL ARMOUR or EMBLEMS to unlock. So i did all that for an achievement, at least the MCC gave you HELIOSKRILL which is no longer special anymore, thanks 343.

I think people have used the same argument over and over again that I am bored of seeing these posts.

If you don’t like the game, play something else. I mean, lots of people still play Reach, if you love it so much go and play that.

MCC is basically fixed now, just a few rough edges, go and play that.

343 did not purposely create a -Yoink- game, they just saw how other games were evolving and made a risky leap to catch up. I personally think they’ve done a really good job and I appreciate their effort. The fact that they backtracked to give us the content they are giving us every month shows dedication, especially as they are creating Halo 6 whilst still managing to support number 5

Preach it sister

no. I can’t even go back to older halos. I miss the mechanics from halo 5 (minus Spartan charge), the speed of the game play, and the sandbox balance. I mean older halos just seem sooooo slow and unbalanced. they are all just BR battles and if you don’t have a BR then you get wrecked.

Dude, I’m guessing your an old Halo fan, and I understand that, since the original game came out 15 years ago. But things have changed in 15 years. Halo is not the same and will never be the same. It started with Reach, and is countinuing on till now. There is more new players than old, and you can always turn off sprint in custom games.

Telling the people unhappy with H5 to play something else is not helping in any way
the population is already minuscule seven months after launch
in fact H5s population fell faster than H4s

also the MCC is far from fixed its still a broken nearly unplayable mess and as a result of that has an even smaller population

343 didn’t intentionally make a crap game no
they made a barely complete lazy game, loaded it up with microtransactions and hoped the loyal halo fan base would either not notice or not care

Halo 5 is actually my favorite multiplayer wise. OP, if one of your top 3 reasons as to why this game is the worst is armor customization, then you must not have a lot to complain about. Don’t forget that halo ce and 2 had no customization but people liked them anyways.

Oh look. This thread again.

Huh?

And here I was thinking OP didn’t make any sense.

stop crying … if you dont like it go play cod … -Yoinking!- -Yoink-

4 months after halo 5’s launch we get a content update introducing a new game mode called Assault… oh wait that’s not a new game mode I’m sorry lol. Now 7 months later that game mode isn’t available in match making. This game lacks a real objective playlist and it over half year old.

Maybe in another 6 months we’ll have more playlists and game-modes like the other Halo’s did at launch. Or am I being too optimistic?

Halo 5 might be the worst Halo game in the eyes of casual player who doesn’t really even play multiplayer. Yes, the campaign was the worst in any Halo ever. Yes, the storytelling and use of Halo’s universe by 343 might never compare to Bungie’s, and that sucks. I don’t think we’ll ever get as epic campaigns (such as Halo 2, Halo 3) from 343. They just don’t know how to replicate that while making something new. Halo 4 had a good story, but it missed the epicness of the previous Halo’s.

The multiplayer of Halo 5 in the other hand is the second best multiplayer ever in my opinion. Halo 4’s multiplayer was probably the worst. And many people seem to agree with me on that. Actually I think the majority thinks that Halo 5’s multiplayer is great. Now all they need to do is get both campaign and multiplayer right for Halo 6. Halo 4 had a great story and bad multiplayer, and Halo 5 has a bad story and great multiplayer. FYI if you want to know, I actually think Halo Reach had the best multiplayer in the series. I dropped over 1600 hours into that game and never got bored. Only stopped playing Reach when Halo 4 launched. After I got bored on Halo 4 I just couldn’t go back anymore and started playing other games. I still regret that decision sometimes, Halo Reach was still very alive and I could’ve enjoyed it more.

This guy who created this topic is a casual -Yoink-. He’s SR52 in Halo 5. That rank is ridiculous. I hit SR50 under 14 days after the release of the game. I’m SR147 at the moment. (Yes I know some people don’t like Halo 5’s multiplayer as much as I do, and this guy simply might find the game boring and perhaps unplayable). But the thing is, if he doesn’t even play the -Yoinking!- multiplayer, he has no right to judge the game and say it’s the worst Halo ever. Because Halo 5’s multiplayer is great. It really is. And with that alone, it’s better than Halo 4 by far in my opinion. Campaign is important in many ways. I enjoy playing Halo’s campaign, the universe and story is unique and intriguing. But you play the campaign for around 30-50 hours total (on average), in some cases even up to 100 hours, yet you might play the multiplayer for thousands of hours like me. I believe I’ve totaled over 3000 hours in Halo’s multiplayer. For me, a good multiplayer outweighs a bad campaign. Therefore in my opinion: Halo 5 > Halo 4 easily. You might disagree and say that it’s the other way around, but don’t -Yoinking!- say Halo 5 is the worst Halo when the majority of it’s buyers enjoy the multiplayer and say it’s great.

True halo 5 is not the best should hve been left to bungie know don’t won’t to know as ur a Xbox one fan as don’t know is there is a chip in PlayStation 4 wt xbox as not gt same as playstation 3 had emotion engine 360 did not there is a graphics chip in the PlayStation 4 wt improves the graphics looks amazing on a bravia engine full HD TV if bungie will create another halo consider PlayStation 4 as should make whole fan base on halo for Xbox one and PlayStation 4 a UST to own a Xbox one was not UST to it looked like a vhs recorder wt was more annoying didn’t have a browser or a good menus screen and could not switch between apps ect at to keep optin ot of SME just to select another was not well organised windows 10 is nt the best of oparateing tools never was is good operating system tool just not a good operating tasks

I agree with some points but I don’t think it’s the worse. To me halo 4 was the worst

I LOVE THIS HALO. The forge allows much more features, and warzone is amazing.

4 was my least played Halo. Halo 5 is almost right up there with H3 in terms of playtime
