> > > > > > > In my opinion Halo: 5 is the worst halo ever made, and personally I am offended by it. To me I feel 343 does not care about the Halo universe the way Bungie did. Halo: 5 has less armor customization ability than Halo: 3. What I mean by that is you can only change the entire armor set (legs, shoulders, chest all together) and the helmet. Yes, you can change the visor but big deal. Halo: 3 allowed you to change both shoulders, chest, and helmet. Don’t get me started on Halo: Reach (halo customization heaven). Yes, Halo: 5 has a lot of armor to choose from (and I mean a lot) however, most of it is recycled garbage. 343 seems to have shown no effort or creativity with the armor.
> > > > > > > The campaign in my opinion was utter -Yoink-; it was too short and ended terribly, and let’s not forget the fact that the previews for Halo: 5 were NO WHERE near accurate to the campaign. I feel 343 is just trying to get as much money as possible, something that can be seen with the new REQ system which allows you to buy the packs, making unlocking new armor pointless, and not even a challenge. I cannot begin to express how frustrated and down right upset the lack of effort that was put into this game makes me.

We all have our own opinions. Some of the things I hate you may love. I do love some features of Halo: 5 but, they aren’t enough to save it for me. I want to hear what you think. What’s your opinion on the game?

> > > > > > Halo 5 limped up to 9th place when the MoR update rolled out. 2 days later…TWO FLIP’N DAYS LATER it dropped out of the top 10 AGAIN! Ya know what that means??? It means no one is impressed nor wants to continue to play this PoS game. I get faster matches in Halo REACH with just 130 players playing in a certain game type (at the time there was a total population of ~ 9000 players). Chew on that for a while
> > > > > > That is pretty damn sad. Currently it is in 13th place. Too bad we can’t place a LMFAO emogee cause that’s what this excuse of a game needs.

The point is people made their own choice to stop playing due to lack of interest, the top 10 is just to point out that people are lying about Halo 5 being the best or most popular Halo in the series. It really does sound like you can’t accept the facts by making assumptions to provoke responses. It’s one of the worst selling Halo games in the franchise…that speaks volumes over anything involving top 10 since right now less people are buying the game, less people are playing Halo 5 than any previous Halo game.

And rightfully so; they can go and find something else they love, and we can stay and continuing loving what we do. A smaller fanbase, isn’t always a BAD thing. Bad for the devs, maybe. But having even a tiny, supportive fanbase is all ANY franchise needs.

> And that’s where you and others differ. You only care about having fun (which is fine, that’s not meant to sound negative). The other people care about more than that, they care about franchise as a whole.
Not true. I care deeply for this franchise, which I have literally grown up with. (Started playing at age 4, in 2003, with Halo: CE.)
But I’ve spent too long being SERIOUSLY, EMOTIONALLY hurt because I over-concerned myself with the people who simply don’t like it anymore, or didn’t like it in the first place. Seriously, I actually cried sometimes because I couldn’t stand that there were people who didn’t like it. At this point, it’s HARD for ME to have fun playing the game because it always makes me remember that not everyone likes it. In a literal sense, other people not liking it actually ruins my experience. So I try to ignore the population.
At this point? I’ll be happy if Halo even remains with a cult following. So long as they can continue making Halo games, even if the budget goes down, I’ll be happy. The longer we support them, the more Halo games they can make. The more Halo games they make, the more chance they have to make a solid, good one. So the way I see it? I want good Halo games? I’ll continue to buy their products and offer proper criticism, rather than just leaving. Those who simply leave (and thus, lower the population), can easily be considered as simply “no longer fans”.
