The top 10 matters because it’s one of many factors, Halo 5 isn’t even in the top 10, the fact is it show’s further that Halo can’t hold any place long enough, that a majority of people are slowly loosing interest. Anywhere near top 10 is one thing but we’re talking about the decline of Halo’s popularity, nothing about Halo being dead…not sure where you’re getting that assumption from since once again you’re making assumptions about the player-base that you know nothing about. The fact your trying to provoke members isn’t really helping your case either.
You can’t expect fans to enjoy anything 343i dishes out just because they call it Halo. Nobody mentioned anything about jumping ship, if your going to be about anyone then it should be at 343i since it’s their job to focus on quality control…and regardless of my opinion of the game…343i clearly have no met that target with a majority of gamers. The difference is between many of us and you is we’re actually willing to give ‘constructive feedback’ instead of just complaining about people complaining just because not everyone agrees with you.
Sure the only right thing you say so far is yes Halo isn’t as popular as it once was and there’s no reason why it couldn’t become as popular again. Plenty of game developers have rocky IP’s and yet plenty of games eventually try to appeal to the fans like how company’s are by listening to the fans with things like Gears 4, Battlefield 1, Resident Evil 2 remake.
