Is Halo: 5 the worst Halo?

Halo 5 is absolutely not the worst halo game ever. I personally don’t think there exists a bad Halo game. There have been some great points brought up in this thread to counter or support your claim. OP, after reading through the replies to your post, honestly ask yourself. Do I still believe Halo 5 is the worst?

I have no problem with halo 5 but for halo six get rid of sprints, duel weild (spelling), no regenerating health, no reqs, no spartan abilitys, BRING BACK SPLIT SCREEN, BRING BACK PLAYABLE ALIENS, MORE GERNADES, AND NEXT TIME DON’T REALEASE THE GAME EARLY, i WANT A FULL RELEASE

I love Halo 5 gameplay with its weapon balance that none of the other Halo games ever did right. Now H2A Multiplayer was the worst Halo multiplayer ever in my book. The gameplay circled the BR, Shotgun and Sniper Rifle while all the other weapons just sucked.

I miss split screen, but I don’t think this is the worst.

Social is typically for people playing alone or small parties. The divide would be even more defined in H5 than in past games.

No problem you’re suggesting were a problem in previous games. Party’s would still go in to social to warm up or play casually and the same would happen here. Not sure why you’re still acting like social in H2 and H3 was a failed experiment when none of that -Yoink- was problem.

I go by what the masses say, not the individual. If people insist things are to tight, than that’s probably the case. It’s not like 343 tells us how any of these system works behind the scenes. If they did that for anything, there’d be a lot less arguing, but 343 would rather keep us in the dark.

Halo 5 - Great gameplay, crappy story little to no customization
Halo 4 - Great story, crappy gameplay decent customization
Halo Reach - Decent story, somewhat okay gameplay best customization yet of any halo game
Halo 3 - Best of Both Worlds customization was solid
Halo 2 - (my opinion) Best story of the franchise yet, dope gameplay
Halo CE - Great story, fun gameplay
^My Opinions, your opinions may differ.

“I am offended by it” Get over yourself

Great game!! I love it…

Ive had a great time with it, trying to get all of the commendations and Achilles Armor. It’s nice to have the REQ system. I enjoy it. Campaign was mediocre, not really my thing.

i didnt know we played the game to customize characters…

Masses as in you and only you. Nobody else thought it was too “tight” which is why so many people responded in disagreement to that post.
You should be a lawyer, you just love to try and prove the false true.

En mi opinión, este halo es el peor de la saga, puesto que el multijugador carece de muchas características de las antiguas entregas, los gráficos son de risa al ser un juego de consola nueva generación, quizás sea muy competitivo, sin embargo, no es justo.

If you are a primarily campaign player…

halo 5 sucks.

If if you like to dress up your Spartan and accessorize…

Halo 5 sucks.

If you like to play the best multiplayer the franchise has seen in years…

Halo 5 is a very decent game.

Considered bad games by whom? They obviously don’t speak for everyone, or even the majority. The days of 4shotting slow moving targets w/ big hit boxes & aim assist are over, now you have to prove you have skill.

Social in Halo 5 is social only in name. It’s not just a mindset like some people think it is, it was also a more casual experience because the matchmaking allowed it to be.

That’s fine, because everyone else is of varying skill. You’re not playing against an entire team that’s your skill level or higher, there are people beneath you as well. If people needed to warm up or just lay back for a game where they could do decently without getting destroyed, Social was the answer. That’s no longer the case.

They won’t be spending their time pub stomping in social because they already have an advantage in Arena (because of no party matching) where they can rank up. Social is typically for people playing alone or small parties. The divide would be even more defined in H5 than in past games.

Now they have a way to freely fight players that are much lower in rank. They don’t even need smurf accounts anymore. They have a playlist of “casual people” and are even encouraged to play it.
> > > > > > > > > > >
> > > > > > > > > > > *“Social is typically for people playing alone or small parties.”*Keyword: “typically”. Social can’t and won’t stop large parties that make up a team, and now they have both the party advantage and the rank advantage, better than they ever had in Arena.

No problem you’re suggesting were a problem in previous games. Party’s would still go in to social to warm up or play casually and the same would happen here. Not sure why you’re still acting like social in H2 and H3 was a failed experiment when none of that -Yoink- was problem.

Your hypothetical is the Halo 3 equivalent of a team of four with 50’s in every single playlist only playing social. I guess it’s a good thing the odds of that happening are mind numbingly small. It’s also a good thing that ranks reset every month too, huh?

Just match based on the hidden rank that determines who you match in ranked games just make the restrictions looser. Exactly like Halo 3.

I frequent a few different Halo forums. The opinions of all the people that say it’s too tight mean more than just what you say.

Lol. Sarcasm?

Just no, it plays like a twitch shooter, it’s the most unbalanced mess that I’ve seen in any Halo game.

Funny how opinions work.

It plays like an arena shooter, it’s the most balanced multiplayer I’ve seen in years.

if where going purley the main series then yes this to me is so far the worst halo, a poorly written story with crap execution and questionable directions, -Yoink!- customization with like 4 variatiolns of every piece which isnt awfull but is just for “filling”, a large focus on RNG to unlock everything, RNG. RNG. RNG (I HATE RNG), microtransactions, boring maps, lack of casual modes to enjoy, noooo OG btb maps… i dont hate it and honestly its better than most fps out there but too much rubs me the wrong way, ill give it credit the mechanics are smooth and forge is amazeballs but in my opinion halo 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> halo 5, i really like halo 4

oh it is balanced to yeah ill give it dat
