Is Halo 5 in maintenance?

My game crashed while I was looking at my collection, and when I booted it back up I couldn’t connect to the servers. At all. Is the game currently in maintenance?

No my friends r having the same issue, party service is also not working

Parties are working for me, it’s just that neither of us were able to connect. Since I started having problems second, I figured it was server issues but I had to be sure. XD! Thank you for appeasing my worries a bit fam.

I can’t connect either! Kinda annoying that you suddenly just can’t connect. Would have been convenient if they’d announced it…

I sure hope so. I’d be a little irritated if that money wasn’t at least helping to stop these silly outages

If I remember correctly, I’ve read in multiple places that part of what we pay for Xbox Live DOES in fact go to upkeep of the servers, and maybe the occasional upgrade in servers. So yes, it does. But that’s not to say there won’t be problems every now and then.
