No Halo 5 is not dead. Tried searching Team Arena on balanced and just found a game in 45 seconds. If you don’t believe me I’m from Australia if you still don’t, just search up my gamertag on the Xbox app.

Unless you want to be sitting for 20+ minutes, you can find games fairly quickly with search settings set to Expanded. Occasionally you wont find a game in a playlist so you’ll have to switch out and come back later but the connection in games is no worse so it’s not a problem.
