I see many people hate on the halo 5 campaign. I think it is because they don’t see the whole picture. Halo 5 is about Cortana becoming a new enemy in the halo universe. The reason why halo 5 campaign sucks is because halo 5 is just a story build unlike halo 3 which is the chorus of the game. I think 343 learned that they should not put a lot of things in the halo comic like the didact’s death. So I think that 343 is trying to put most of the halo content in the game which would make the game suck but you get most of the halo story. I believe that the following halo games would be cooler ( All this is just my opinion, pls do not get offended)
Halo 4 had the balls to kill off cortana and try to humanize the chief in a world that is seemingly rejecting his help. In Halo 5 the chief is a blundering fool, Cortana is miraculously revived in a deus ex machina way, and overall it felt like 343i changed story direction mid-development (where is cloaked chief?).
I’m not a big fan of the created either. That’s a villain that came out of nowhere. There are tons of better antagonists they could have built up like covenant splinter factions (Jul), the banished, other possible forerunners, but instead they opted for a curveball with the created. I’m holding my opinion for H6’s storyline, but I’m not liking the direction it’s seemingly heading.

Nailed it I loved the H4 story line o felt it was going to in a really good direction then the didact dies ina comic takes down black team while he Is at it and we get this -Yoink- campaign chief seems like a moron which was very hard to be a part of
