When does everyone think Halo 5 guardians will take place? Will it be right after the end of Halo 4, or will it be further down the line after Requiem has been destroyed?
I’m interested to see what everyone says because, I personally, can’t decide when I think it will be, and no one can make any really good solid theories until we know if it will be before or after Spartan Ops.
I would also like to see peoples reasoning behind their decisions as to why they picked that choice.
I think maybe a couple of months after the end of Halo 4., at least six months after and at most a year. In the trailer John has a cracked visor and a tattered cloak, indicating that he has seen some action after Halo 4.
I think some part of the game is on Sanghelios. In the trailer we see John walking in a desert on a planet with two red moons, these moons could possibly be Qikost and Suban. This is further lamented in the concept art provided to us, notice the two red moons in the background.
But yeah, either during the later chapter in Spartan Ops, or a couple of months after.
I think Escalation ties directly into Halo 5. Thats my theory.
I’m going with after Escalation since it is setting up the stage of the Halo Universe a month after Spartan Ops.
If it was set before Spartan Ops, then every time someone mentioned Requiem, Jul, Halsey or Infinity, we would all be having mini mental face palms, because we already know how that story rolls out.
I think the UNSC: Infinity will make an appearance in halo 5, and for it to do this it must be after Spartan Ops. Just my opinion though.
