is halo 4 on 2 disc

Yes.

From what it looks like, yes.

i think you should have posted this in the halo4 section.

back on topic, i have heard rumours that it is which doesn’t bother me aslong as multiplayer is one disc and campaign on the other honestly the campaign disc would stay in till i complete it then multiplayer wont leave my xbox till halo5!!!

Thirteen maps and a campaign? That’s all there is. I don’t see why they’d need two discs if Halo Reach had a lot more stuff on it and it only had one disc. Spartan Ops is on hard drive space.

if you look at one of the discs it is unrated. this leads me to believe that it may be an extras disc with videos and themes like the halo 3 essentials.

Actually it’s a matter of what those things entail. This game is pretty much pushing 360’s to their limit, so even if it is just campaign and MP, it’s a lot more data than Halo Reach ever had.

I hope one of the disks is just one that we have to install, and then we’ll be able to play it off of one disk. Call me lazy, but I don’t want to go through the hassle of switching disks every time I want to play campaign and multiplayer.

I believe the second disc is Forward Unto Dawn.

Nope.
Both Discs are X360 Discs. So they only work on the console.

And it’s also been confirmed that FUD is only a digital download at this point.

This was my thought too. High quality textures like we’ve seen from Halo 4 so far take up space, and trying to fit that data on one DVD along with all the other game resources might not be possible even in the event that the amount of “content” (missions and maps, etc) is the same as previous Halo titles.

Its probably not a texture issue, why game will ship on two discs. Has probably more to do with the Facial Motion Capture tech. This takes alot of space.

It’s a two disk game with an 8 GB requirement for Halo 4’s MP (i am assuming besides all the stock content, Spartan OPs contributes to that).

From what I have seen, it’s on two discs.

It appears to be that way.

Welcome to Waypoint!

Hopefully. I hated having to go one Waypoint to view Reach’s.

Yes! That mean more stuff.
