We know Halsey is going to be in Halo 4 thanks to a script 343i unveiled in a video. Is it possible that Halsey might be killed off? It would provide an interesting way to explore Chief’s humanity for sure.

This may get shut because of the mods, but this isn’t really a spoiler.
About 2 weeks ago, halo 4 follower released a cutscene he got from the game, but it got shut down really fast. From what it showed and what I’m assuming, Halsey will not make an appearance on requiem, but the game will only show scenes of where she is being held captive (if you haven’t read glasslands but are planning on it, don’t read any further) at the end of halo glasslands and is getting interviewed.

Are you referring to her commentary in Reach? I wouldn’t exactly consider that proof that she lives. She would be 97 by 2589, I’m not sure how long humans live in Halo, but she sounds a little young to be 97.

Well, they couldn’t hire an older VA to do Halsey in Reach’s epilogue, because otherwise, fans wouldn’t recognize it as her.
Besides, it’s not unheard of for people to live that long TODAY. I’m sure that with the help of cyro and advancements in medicine (Hell, cancer is nothing but an inconvenience in the 26th Century), humans can live past 90.

Valid points, but it’s still not exactly proof. If 343i wants to kill her off, I doubt they won’t do it because she gave a speech that could have happened at any time. She could have said that at the Noble team memorial unveiling or something similar for all we know.

Well, I’m not worried about 343 killing Halsey off. I’m more worried about Karen Traviss doing that, to be honest.

And, like I said a number of times before in this thread, that isn’t exactly proof that she gave that speech in 2589.
Do you still age normally while in Cryo sleep, or does it somewhat slow you down? Just wondering, cause I didn’t know. If so, that may take some years off her age possibly.
