Is Halo 4 going to be as frustrating at reach

Every time I come off Reach I’m in a bad mood and pissed off feeling like I’m going to have a heart attack.

  • Constantly put with -Yoink- teams
  • Bs deaths
  • Monged playlists
  • Horrendous colour variation in maps
  • Annoying voting system where it’s always the same thing
  • Boring BTB matches (not enough power weapons, spending 90% of the time failing miserably with the DMR from long range whilst noobs get the good stuff)
  • Got to team up with friends to win a match
  • Quitters (hopefully put right now that people can just enter a midway match)

I have seen TOO much Halo 4 info, and I think it will generally be more satisfying and less stressful than Reach. Sometimes I think how Reach was ever accepted into this universe.

I rarely find Reach all that frustrating. Usually only when I put on my trypants or when dealing with yoinkholes.

People are way too hard on Reach, play BF3, after loving BFBC 2, that game is the true meaning of frustration “why is my tank always sliding?! What did my flares not work again!? Why did that dude kill me when I shot him with my entire clip”. After 35,000 kills in that game I think I’m done, uhg.

Reach is not perfect, but it could be way worse.

That battle rifle is in halo 4. That weapon is completely unfrutrating to use. That in mind, I see less headaches.

I rarely find Reach frustrating.

You must just have bad luck.

no one is forcing you to buy halo 4, if they are you should tell somebody

I have even considered just quitting Matchmaking and playing Campaign & Firefight only a few times now.

Halo 4; here’s to hoping. . .

well I would like to say no but the reality is that if the game has most of the same mechanics as halo reach did then chances are likely youll be just as frustrated.

The only issue I have is that I NEED my team to play cause everyone else I get paired w/ is apparently 4 years old.

I don’t blame the voting system for getting the same stuff- I blame lack of Forged maps and lack of required DLC (Require DLC in H4 dang it!)

BTB sucks just cause of all the boosters who spawn trap and vehicle dominate on Objective Gametypes.

Everything else I genuinely like. Whenever I don’t- I just think back to how bad H3 got w/ the BR spam… Unbearable.

I share your feelings OP, I think Reach is a Halo game that shouldn’t have been made.

Halo 4 looks very promising, here’s hoping I’m not wrong.

You should not feel worse from something that was designed to give happiness and enjoyment… Your outlook on the game and frankly, Life, is very depressing and only pulls other’s down with it… Your dislike towards Reach hurts the fans and soaks their respect for the game in gasoline… And complaining about Halo 4 and comparing it to Reach through insult is the Match that starts the fire… Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable…

If the game makes you upset, then do what I do… Meditate. It lets me see the nature of things, as they really are. It is how I can encounter life’s many faces, with some sense of peace.

It has been said. Be utterly humble, and you shall hold to the foundation of peace. Be at one with all these living things, which have arisen and flourished. Return to the quiet whence they came.

So instead of Causing more rage, seek only to help other’s feel your pain in a way that people will want to help… Instead of Hate.

I hope you find the peace that exists in life, and that you embrace it. For we are all Equal creatures… Living on a Planet together, Trying to make the best of life, and live our lives…Anyways, Namaste my Friend.

Imagine the worst… then double it.

Hopefully the maps are better in BTB, unlike the same crap that is cycled over and over and over…

If you are really getting this frustrated over Reach and video games in general I think you need to think about either spending less time playing or trying to calm down a bit. I’m not saying you have an issue, I used to find myself getting annoyed during Halo 3 but I started to step back and get some perspective. Now I look forward to having fun and laughs on the game instead of getting my mental state in a negative place because im losing, being cheated etc.

I have far more important things in life to get upset about, video games should be a place to vent and relax your off time.

Being competitive is healthy but if you are constantly finding yourself frustrated and aggravated then you should try to step back a bit.

> Really? Now you’re just complaining for complaint’s sake. Halo’s color palettes are what set them apart from other FPS games, and variation of colour from map to map is necessary in order to help players remember the layout of a map.
