Is Halo 4 DYING??

No

Not dying, “evolving”

In other words, lots of the good stuff from previous games have been replaced by gimmicks and other poor concepts.

Short answer, yes. It has been a slow, painful death starting with H:reach.

Nope. The fools that say it is just don’t like the direction it’s going in. Which is fine, but then they decide to endlessly troll the forums posting flamebait and not even bothering to post constructive criticism; just trying to stirr up trouble.

Enough is enough already with this. If you dont like the way the franchise is headed, stop playing, stop posting and move on. You will be happier and so will the rest of us who are enjoying the game and talking about it.

you simply cannot deny that the Halo franchise has taken multiple turns for the worse. Halo 4 fails to accomodate players of various skill ranges and place them against each other accordingly, has copied many mechanics of other games when it didn’t need them to begin with, and lastly has destroyed the competitive edge that halo once had. It has become a boring FPS that players will use as a filler with COD and/or any other popular shooter released on the market. This game has so many flaws that countless members defend and deny yet the population continues to decline daily and former Halo legends have left the game due to this downward spiral. Bungie was forced into making reach the way it was and in doing so set up Halo to fail from there on out.

Not sure. I don’t even get on often enough to see the population. Been playing on PC recently, and when I do turn on my Xbox it’s to PVP in Dark Souls. Which is sad this early after a Halo game release.

there will be no rebirth lol, just more -Yoink- halo games. if you want to shell out $60 each on them be Microsofts guest. That is exactly what they want sheeple to do

Very good point. Fingers crossed that 343 (and the video game industry as a whole) wises up and goes back to their roots. Look at the Mortal Kombat series, it was starting to flop from all of the gimmicks, and then they released the reboot and everyone loves it.

Lots of other reboots too. DmC… Tomb Raider… Let’s hope this is the year everything turns around. It’s almost to the point where having a simple game (Like Halo CE or Halo 2) will be “fresh.” Maybe “new features” should be going back to the old.

Most have stopped playing, you and the rest of the fanboys have a good time. I will check back from time to time to see if I can play a Halo game, not Reach 2 or Call of Reach. It’s going to be hilarious and sad in a month when MW3 and Skyrim pass this game. So many people here must be from Egypt, land of De-nile.
