So I noticed that certain cutscenes will glitch, sometimes dialogue wont be heard, rendering problems occur, random shadows appear, and a lot of other things. What is with that?
As far as my understanding goes, these things occur because Halo 2 is a rushed product. Many things were cut from the game in order to meet the insane deadline Microsoft gave Bungie.

Adding to this, Halo 2’s development was nothing short of a nightmare. The famous E3 demo, for example, is radically different from the final product’s Battle of New Mombasa, and it’s not just the level design and the in-game events. While 343 were once able to have that E3 demo running smoothly, back in the day, as the demo played, it was actually being played live, with another guy deleting objects that don’t matter anymore, as they were having a lot of trouble maintaining a stable 30FPS on the engine they were using (Pstencil, something along the lines). Most, if not, all the concepts from the demo were cut.
And it didn’t stop there. Halo 2 as we known it is still radically different from the planned Halo 2 on the BLAM! engine. To give you an idea, we were supposed to have 3 more missions. 2 of them were replaced by a cutscene and the 3rd one by a comic.
There’s MANY more, but I’m stopping it here.
