I’ve been playing now since it went out on the 15th and had no problems as of yet. Today I’ve had a few games and was doing bad. Not getting any kills and dying to much. With my 5th game I was like ok lets play it safe and try to get a kill. I caught an enemy off guard got the drop on him and was shooting at him. His shields popped with just half my AR mag and then took the rest of the mag but did not die? Even switched to my sidekick and put at least 6 shots into him bit I ended up dying. At my kill cam my teammate was there as soon as I died and was shooting this enemy that had no shields and should of died. The enemy killed my teammate too.
Are people hacking with invulnerability in halo infinite or is it a bug I don’t know. Before anyone comments me and says “just get good” don’t waste your time. This isn’t about skill in any way. How can someone who was shot at 1st then have no shields be able to stay alive and take out two people shooting them.
If anyone experience this please let me know. Maybe its my internet connection I dunno but something is up?
Yup, it took a whooping 2 days for cheaters to start coming in. I’m seeing people with 20 kills just run around, passing thru grenades like it’s nothing, getting melee’d 4 times for 0 damage then teabagging. It’s just too bad there’s no way to report them. Good job 343!
More reasons why cross-play needs to be turned off with option to toggle. This is exactly why going F2P was probably the worst thing 343i could have done. Bad enough with the stupid premium battle pass blocking content but hackers just makes the games even more infuriating. Moments like this makes me wish it was a paid game since anyone cheating would have to pay extra again if their account got banned and that would decrease the chance of finding them again.
ive noticed that in a few games. Where there is at least one person who can just tank with no shields, i see that electric effect popping off all over them and just empty mags into em or go for a melee and im the one that ends up dying lol. when most times i see that electric effect its an easy cleanup kill. So not really sure whats up its either a bug or could possibly be cheaters already. I know its possible to get lucky and still win a fight with no shield, but not being shot with an entire mag as they are already weak and before they even spot you lol
I’m glad im not loosing my mind. Cant believe it’s not even out a week and there could be cheaters already. Hopefully 343 will have some sort of cheat system and ban people probably and not just soft ban them. I would at least like the option to turn off crossplay to avoid cheaters but can’t see how to do so?

I’ve seen some terrifying aim bots at work but so far always assumed someone didn’t die because of latency. Too bad they’ve already figured out some invulnerability code as well.
These things are inevitable but so far on ranked in console I didn’t encounter anything out of order luckily.
I have had games with my fireteam and the whole team felt the enemy team had some sort of advantage over us.
Their shield wouldn’t deplete easily, had to empty ar clip and the switch to br or other weapon and empty that too to kill someone.
Br shots in some cases killed in 1 or 2 shots with full shield, kinda rapid firing auto aim is present
3.when one shot even hiding wasn’t working as we got wall banged
If we managed to kill anyone they would respawn behind you.
These are few examples but I intend to start recording and reporting when this game is officially released. At present we tried to remain positive and carried on playing. Mostly saw this in ranked arena. Some patterns matched what was happening in halo 5,so 8t seems whatever cheat methods were there are working in halo infinite.
I’ve not had them in my games but I’ve seen clips online of people using cheats
it’s only going to get worse from here so it’d be nice if we could have the option to disable cross-play, it was an opinion in the MCC so I don’t see why we can’t have it.
Hacking is deff here already. Just rewatched a game replay last night and watched an enemy player track all my movements from behind a wall, even shooting the wall multiple times where my character was, then was able to stay on me soon as i walked out of cover. it was very obvious as i didnt just round the corner he tracked as i went left and right and even a jump before rounding the corner. I was going to report the player but i could not find any in game report function.
I ran into a cheater on Behemoth 2 nights ago. They had absolutely been cheating because they got nothing but headshots with the sniper. The moment you were in their line of sight you were dead and when a buddy of mine was cloaked and tried to sneak on them for the back kill, they instantly 180’d and got a headshot on my (crouched and cloaked) friend and proceeded to -Yoink!- him as if they were ever really any good.
Cheater was the only one on his team to get ALL of the kills. His team was basically here to feed mine sometimes and that was it. There was no way they’d ever get a kill on us, it was always him with the sniper. I hope they were decent and reported him too. I’d have most definitely reported anyone like that on my team.
Long story short, we lost that game. The only thing we could do was report them via Xbox Live since there was no report function in-game. I’ve encountered other cheaters in Ranked and Big Team Battle, but this was a 4v4 quick play and it was the most notable one because the others, while obvious, were trying to play it cool. Be incognito. Trick you into thinking they’re not cheating, but they are. Losing their shields but not dying, taking you out from so far away with a Sidekick, etc. But this guy? Did not care he was cheating. He made it extremely obvious and wanted people to know it.
