Playing Reach right now and am wondering which is H4 going to be more similiar too.
(I know there aren’t too many differences between the two.)
But for reference, it’d be nice for input.

Neither. It’s not really comparable to either.
They’re nothing alike in the slightest, but the closest you will ever get is TU Reach due to the lack of Sword Block, bleedthrough enabled (when it was), reduced bloom on the weapons.
Ah. Thank you

Is bleed through not enabled on TU reach?

It was for a while. But thanks to some glitch, it was removed.

Only in Anniversary gametypes, it was removed from normal TU gametypes due to a visual bug with the health bar.
It would show you are full shields & full health, but you’d have full shields and red health.

Well that makes sense now.
Does anyone recommend how I can get prepared for halo 4? Is there a certain game mode I should play to practice the basics?
Bounce between halo 3 and reach, but I don’t think there is anything that can TRULY prepare us.

I’m just getting discouraged. I got completely decimated today on Reach. My grenades wouldn’t go where I wanted to, my shots would miss and I would die so quickly.
Honestly if you’re getting discouraged and/or frustrated, take a break. Take a step back from the game and instead of playing and getting annoyed, go play something else.
Definitely don’t plan on grenade physics being the same because they’re pretty different in Halo 4. Movement-wise, it’s closer to 3 and gunplay is marginally similar to Reach but even then that’s not entirely true. The game is faster paced and more fun overall. You really can’t adequately prepare for either in any prior Halo game.
Don’t let yourself get frustrated. We all have streaks where we’re playing like garbage. Just walk away for a bit and come back to it later.
Thanks Snicker.
