After the update I have recognized that many players weren’t getting booted as much and that they were being more lenient about betrayals. My buddy and I decided to test the option to see if it was still there and I betrayed him 5 times and he claimed to have gotten the option. But in another game I saw a guy betray his teammates like 10 times and he didn’t get booted. Can anyone confirm if it really is gone or if it is just a fluke that the guy who got his teammates 10 times were on a fireteam. The thing is though he was doing it on purpose so he couldn’t have been in a fireteam. Is the betrayal option gone or did they just move the option up to 5 before they got the option???
Thanks,
Lobster
Nope the boot is still there i was kicked yesterday maybe thats why their gonna take off grifball for a little bit to fix the boot system and other glitches i guess.
You do have to hit “Accept” option to boot someone. The reason this is an issue is because the screen is fast and the “Accept” option is automatically highlighted.
It is definitely still there, I had the option pop up after someone betrayed me 3 times, so it doesn’t look like the threshold was raised either. Maybe they relaxed the banhammer (I doubt it) but I would rather not test it. This is just ridiculous now, a vast majority of players agree that at the very least the threshold should be higher. 343 needs to explain what is going on, their silence is extremely frustrating.
this is why you always play with friends

Agreed, this has happened to me and Ive booted people by accident before. (I say accident because I know the difference between me running into a hammer and a teammate being an intentional dirtbag)

Yes I’ve accidentally booted someone cause I was tea bagging the guy who almost scored to tie the game and my teammate hit me like 2 seconds later. (Might have been on purpose but I didn’t want to kick him) after the game I messaged him saying my bad the screen popped up so fast I didn’t even have time to react
Why doesn’t 343i turn off the friendly fire in grifball?
