I believe it’s been confirmed that Bear, like Karen Traviss, was slated to write a trilogy. Two are already out/announced, however the third has yet to be mentioned.

If I had to guess, I’d predict it’ll come out after The Thursday War, or after Halo 4 comes out. I wouldn’t be surprised if they saved the third book in Bear’s trilogy as a segway between Halo 4 and 5.

I would look for the last Greg Bear forerunner trilogy book to be released around January 2013.
