So I finally reached Diamond in Team Slayer. I’d like to reach Onyx before the season ends. Thing is, my friends who I play Halo with are nowhere near Diamond or are on my level, when we do play, they usually finish negative K/D. So far I’ve been playing Slayer solo and inviting anyone that did well to the next game, sometimes they join, sometimes they don’t.
Is the competition much harder in Onyx?

My friend who is in onyx slayer says it’s a pretty different feel.
I have never played slayer yet for the sole reason of being hyper competitive and not having friends who do well to join me lol. So I just do swat or arena or something where it doesn’t matter really. I would love to play slayer, but I would want an actual fire team for that.

I have joined some Onyx guys party for Slayer and Arena and its a whole new level I just try and stay alive and lend support where I can.
