So, if you don’t know gamecheat13 has leaked: The new voices, grenade launchers, wraith, wasps, and more. I was wondering is he doing a good or bad thing in the view of the people. He is releasing things early but, most likely against 343’s wishes. I think he is doing good by modding and sharing but, don’t quite approve of his ruining of 343’s suspense and goals. I almost wish 343 would release a statement. Do you think he is good or bad?

Well, it’s not like you have to watch him. So, I think neither.
I think he’s doing good, 343 just keeps beating around the bush about the simplest of things, game cheat gives us a heads up in advance of what to expect so we don’t “overhype” the next update as we did with Halo 5 before it released, in other words “he’s keeping us from getting pissy when 343 doesn’t add what we expect in the next update.” And honestly seeing as 343’s “suspense” has pretty much staked H5 through the heart so to speak, I think this may be a way to get back SOME of the lost population.
Can he mod WZ into forge or add forge to warzone?
He reminds me of someone who would sneak into his parent’s room and then tell his siblings what they’re getting for Christmas.

I think a modding and datamining scene can only be good for a community. Too bad Halo’s isn’t stronger.
A few things he’s done outside of his regular content have given me the impression that he’s a bit of a -Yoink-, but whatever.
Is he good or bad? Neither… he’s freaking awesome. I’ve liked him for years and think what he does is amazing. Despite the “cheat” in his name, he hates online cheaters just as much as we do and I respect that a great deal.

that is a valid point I just don’t think it will bring anyone back. Dont get me wrong I love getting a sneak peek but, I also enjoyed the old way of trailer and then community update req reveal.

very few people know about it actually, the only people who will know are his subs/people who watched the vids and then when its mentioned on waypoint, and those are the people who will more likely look it up, I doubt there is any one on waypoint that positively contributes on the forums and that looks up halo content on youtube or waypoint that doesn’t want to know about it

Well considering 343 way of doing things usually pisses people off ‘cough’ Phaeton Helios in MoR ‘cough’ Gamecheat gives us an idea of what we might be getting that way things won’t get as out of control as they did with Memories of Reach.

TBH 343 had some kind of karma coming to them, first with MCC being one of the worst failures of the Xbox One if not THE worst failure, then Halo 5 343 seems to be ignoring the bug lists people have been pointing out since day 1, not to mention they claim to “listen” to the community, but we all know Mr. Tom French as his amazing team are the ONLY ones at 343 who listen to the community, if that was untrue we’d have the Falcon, Hornet, and many other classic weapons and vehicles along with stable servers.
I think what he’s doing is great. He’s showing us things to come and keeping us hyped about it.
