Wondering because if its on Requiem, then there might not be any MP matches on a Halo ring world in Halo 4.
Hopefully Forge maps will take place on a Halo. 343i can’t abandon the most iconic part of the series!
There are three different forge environments, the one we’ve seen is most likely on requiem because the ceiling pillars are visible in the Background, the other two could be in completely different locations, we don’t know
Has any of the scenery in the maps that have been showed, any sign of the ring?
well from the forge demonstration videos it looks like requiem but i think i heard somewhere thats was place holder location, but im not sure. There will be other worlds (3 in total i think) that we could choose from so maybe one of them could be a ring.

My sentiments exactly, if that’s not the case, I would really miss playing MP on a ring world in any Halo game.
If this title screen is any indication, I would bet we will definitely encounter another Halo ring in Halo 4. It appears the first Forge environment, Ravine, is on Requiem. We have no idea where the other two Forge environments are located. It would definitely be awesome to have one on a Halo, and possible another in space.
I’m going to assume that, to fit into the whole canon that 343i has implemented to encompass multiplayer and campaign/spartan ops, forge will take place on the holo deck of the UNSC Infinity. However, if you mean the environment that it is synthesizing, then at least one of the maps may be on a virtual Halo ring which would be cool.
