Is forge going to be in this update?? If not when?

Last I heard forge will be released in September. You can play it now if you are part of the halo insider program and get lucky enough to get invited.

Wait how do you know this? I thought ppl playing had to get in the leaked build by doing a tutorial as long as they have the insider build. Nothing about being invited to it

You needed to be an insider to get invited to the campaign co-op.
The Forge files were hidden inside that download.
The current road map says September.
But that map is now three to four months old - and we’ve had nothing but radio silence from 343.
Campaign co-op was due in August - so the map is looking a little shaky.
We should know more by the end of the week. 343 are refreshing their road map for us then.
It’ll be released when they’re ready to release it. Hopefully when they finished polishing as many bugs and issues with it as they can…
and a Custom Game Browser along side with it…

The pressure is on. The crunch is on. This 1 comes down to the wire.
343 will either full send on time or have a roadmap to november released starting with co op & September bug fixes for the drop pod update. We should expect details and dates or date ranges.
I think if they do decide to full send it’ll be a little rough for some players. Those who are playing on wifi instead of ethernet cable will have issues more commonly. Same for those with low download speeds.
There’s going to be a lot to get excited about. especially over the next year. Maybe sooner. time will tell. We all have to be patient for it.

The initial road map for season 2 shows forge “beta” in September. We’re supposed to be getting co-op late August… (looks around, sees calendar) Well that’s today and we haven’t heard anything yet, but maybe we’re getting an update today. Not really sure about that. If campaign is delayed then it’s likely they’ll delay forge too. (sigh)

Anyone that gets their hopes up from 343’s vague target dates is being foolish.
Even with all the posts earlier this year about “just tell us what your working on and hopes for release, we won’t hold you to those dates” there is still going to be an embarrassing about of upset players.
…Still waiting on today’s article. They’re an hour behind and I don’t care about The Yappening.

“When it’s ready” would have been acceptable before the game launched at all, if that’s what it took for it to be more of a complete package out of the gate.
It’s not ok now that the game has been out for almost a year and has been hemorrhaging players the entire time
Well, they can release it early if you don’t mind a buggy mess and unfinished…
I don’t have a problem with that! At least I can start learning how to use it!!
