Is Forge broken or what?

I spent hours working on a map. I fired it up to find that over 80 pieces had moved -6’. They not only moved, those pieces are now unrecognized. I CAN NOT move them back. My time has officially been wasted. I can’t see myself doing this again. I don’t think I can be bothered with Forge if their will be this risk.

Has anyone else had similar issues? Has this been addressed by 343i? Thanks…

I’ve finished two maps so far, and on the first I had something happen which seemed similar to what you’re describing, but in my case it was just user error and easily corrected once I understood what I’d done. I noticed that some static vehicles looked like they’d sunk into the ground a few inches. Adjacent warthogs were quivering the way they do when they’re fighting for the same space as another object. Turned out I’d accidentally spawned in a 128x128 slab in almost the same position as the original one that they were all sitting on. At first I just bumped the vehicles up a little. Then I discovered the extra block, deleted it, and moved everything back again. Problem solved. I’ve also noticed that there are some pieces (a specific size of cylinder, but I don’t remember which one) where the “grab-able” object is much smaller than the visual object, which makes them difficult to manipulate - impossible if they’re half buried in the ground. The old teleporter fix for buried objects doesn’t work anymore.

So there are definitely glitches, but in my experience most of them have been my own doing.

I was thinking I had done something. Maybe locked them or something. Even when pieces are locked you can access options for the item by hitting the Y button. I can’t even do that. The hand cursor is an out line as though there is no piece at all.

I restarted the game. I’ve rebooted my console. The maps seems stuck like this. It seems as though I will have to abandon the map and all the time I put into it.

Spawn two new objects and group them. Everything else will be attached to that group. Ungroup it all and fix accordingly.
