During the Battle of Arcadia, in February 2531, an Spartan-II team, designated as Omega, is tasked with reinforcing Spartan-II Red Team (Douglas-042, Jerome-092, Alice-130) who retreated from the ruins of Pirth City, with a compliment from the crew of the UNSC Spirit of Fire… this team has no known classifications yet and the six members are unidentified… so who are they?

Prelude: I want to first make two assumptions about Spartan Team Omega…

  • The Spartan-II fire team is a splinter group of the greater formation, known as Red Team;

> My hypothesis originates from the graphic novel, Halo: The Fall of Reach. During the Fall of Reach, in July 2552, Spartan-II commando, Frederic-104, lead Spartan Red Team against the Covenant Empire. To assist with multiple objectives, Fred splintered the larger formation into four designations… Alpha, Beta, Delta and Gamma…

  • The Spartan-II fire team reinforced the forces on Harvest. after the Battle of Arcadia;

> My rationale is due to the fact that the Spartan-II commandos fought against the Covenant Empire, on multiple colony worlds… and also that the UNSC Spirit of Fire left Harvest presumptuously.

During the Liberation of Harvest, in 2531, Spartan-II commandos fought the Covenant Empire in an attempt to re-take Harvest… one of which was Daisy-023.

Prelude: I want to assume two things about Daisy-023…

  • Spartan-II Commando, Daisy-023, was a part of Spartan Red Team;

> The reasoning for my guess is frankly due to her armor colour, in Halo: Legends - Homecoming, and the fact that Spartan-II commandos operated in team-orientated operations on colony worlds.

  • Spartan-II Commando, Daisy-023, had a uncanonical set of Mjolnir Mark VI Power Armor Systems with the specialization of Close-Quarters Battle Armor (CQB);

> This educated guess is by the fact that the Mjolnir Mark VI Powered Assault Armor, was not in active service by 2531.

[Query] Is [exploratore] Daisy-023, part of Spartan Red Team, and if so could she be one of the members of designation Omega?

Daisy isn’t wearing Mark VI armor. She’s wearing Mark IV with the CQB helmet configuration. She doesn’t have any shields whatsoever. Also, Red team was wearing Green MK IV armor but were under the name “Red team”. Not to mention at the time of Daisy’s death the Spirit of Fire wasn’t on Harvest. Also, the battle of Arcadia was after Harvest.

Correct me if I’m wrong here, but I don’t think Omega could have been on Harvest.

Daisy was killed on Harvest during the Covenants retaliation which the UNSC managed to repel. The Spirit of Fire arrived in system on February 4th, after most of the Covenant resistance had been neutralised. The battle of Arcadia was on February 9th, after the UNSC had won the battle of Harvest. Daisy says that Gamma 4 (her team?) is gone and the marine replies that the planet is finished. The marine wouldn’t have said that if it had only been a small force like it was in Halo Wars. This leads me to believe that Daisy died during the retaliation attack which means she died before the Spirit of Fire arrived.

If she had been a part of Omega, she would have been on Arcadia.

Daisy uses a Mjolnir MK IV (no shields). The only thing that doesn’t match is her CQB helmet which is similar to a MK VI.

Later, during the Harvest Campaign in the Human-Covenant War, Daisy-023 assists several Marines that had been pinned down by enemy fire. As she assists the Marines in reaching an evacuation point, she encounters Ralph-103, a fellow escapee who is now working as a Marine. As the evacuation Pelican dropship lands and the Marines board the vessel, Daisy is impaled by Needler rounds. She unsuccessfully attempts to provide covering fire using a pistol; the Pelican is completely destroyed with Fuel Rod Gun fire, killing everyone aboard. Daisy dies soon after from the Needler rounds.

The battle of Saragarsso was in 2546. Daisy was born on Saragarsso, nothing more. Daisy died on Harvest in 2531.

She was born on Sargarsso. She died during the Harvest Campaign.
