No argument there. Ground out a lot of GTA cash across both gens.
CoD, Fortnite, Destiny and Apex give limited amounts of premium currency through the BP on the free line, but it is limited, painfully so. It’s one of they things they use to entice that BP purchase, because the currency gains on the premium line are worth it. You are correct with that slight detail tho. The paid BP gains are good, especially topped off with MS rewards.
Destiny offers a rotating store, that offers premium items at a “grind currency” cost, while offering the actual store items that are always there to purchase at a $ cost. So there will be a time that if you save your grind currency you can get lucky in the rotation and skip the $ cost for that item.
CoD/Destiny also allow for that grind currency to be earned in ways besides MP. CoD has the BattlePass XP earns through MP and Warzone, while Destiny allows it through PvE, and PvP. Both games have complimentary systems.
Currently the only way to grind an actual item is the Capstone/BP, and if you want said Capstone/BP free items. My hope is that Season 2 releases a Co Op system that will tie into the BP and revamp the system a bit to be more symbiotic.

I was very pissed at 343 and XGS at the launch week due to Halo Infinite’s awful progression system, but they have made serious improvements since them. It’s not perfect, but that’s more than most publishers would do in a single month. So, yeah, I think I can chill for a while.

No Halo 5’s biggest issues were the campaign, microtransactions, and stablity. The gameplay is actually good…when it’s not crashing.

Can’t say I’ve experienced crashed on Halo 5 personally. Although it’s been along time since I remember
I’m enjoying the game so far. The only issue I have with campaign, is the endgame when you beat all the missions. Not really much to shoot at once you have all the FOBS and Strongholds. Maybe make it to where UNSC Outposts are under attack or be able to reset some strongholds so that we can be able to mess with the stuff that we unlocked towards the end.
Custom games are really the only thing that crashes anymore, but considering I still find custom matches fairly quick on Halo 5, it’s kind of an issue for me.

All I want is a Spartan rank and maybe for simple colors to be unlocked for all.
